DPN is accepting applications for the New Investigator Award, which waives the article processing charge ($2290) for new investigators who recently established their independent research program and wish to publish their original research in DPN. Deadline is May 18th, 2026.
We are thrilled to announce that NPP-Digital Psychiatry and Neuroscience has been officially accepted for indexing in PubMed Central (PMC), the U.S. National Library of Medicine’s premier digital archive of biomedical and life sciences literature.
DPN Primers are concise, highly accessible articles designed to create a bridge between psychiatry and neuroscience. Each Primer translates a single core concept across disciplines—bringing clinically-grounded psychiatric principles to basic scientists, and introducing mechanistic and methodological foundations to clinicians—so that these communities can more effectively communicate and interpret findings in a shared language. Emphasizing translational endpoints, longitudinal/continuous measurements, and objective analytics, Primers aim to create an arc where real-world symptoms connect to circuits, molecules, and computational models—thereby enabling transformational improvements in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental health conditions.
