The Journal of Geovisualization and Spatial Analysis [JGSA] provides an advanced forum for theories and applications of geospatial analysis and visualization while serving diverse fields such as cartography, geographic information science/systems, remote sensing, location-based services, photogrammetry and geology.

  • Publishes high-quality research papers, reviews, and communications.
  • Subjects include visualization theory and technology in real and virtual environments, cartography and cartographic communication and analysis of dynamic phenomena.
  • In addition, multiscale and/or higher dimensional visualization of geospatial data.
  • Plus applications of geovisualization in geology, landscape design, decision-making, disaster response analysis of social interactions and education.
  • Also, theory and applications of spatial analysis and spatial relations, geo-computation and geo-statistics, spatial data handling, spatial data mining, etc.
