'cause I can look your god right in the eye.
01. I keep forgetting to mention this, but I LOVE IT. It used to be every time I walked into the kitchen I wanted to cry, because I was inevitably confronted by a pile of dishes any time I wanted to get a glass of water. Now, even when someone does leave a dish or two, I get to see this: :

It makes me a little less inclined to kill everybody, and therefore it is golden. Also, it makes me tempted to put quotes around "fuckin'" every time I type/text it. AND NOTICE THE EXCLAMATION POINT. Tito!
02. I found out today that I officially passed my GED. I don't know my score yet, but, WHATEVER. At least there is one thing in my life that I haven't been a fuck-up about. Of course, I am reversing some of this through vodka and cigarettes and eating meat again, but WHATEVER. New York wants me to be unhealthy!
03. "Heroes," "I Am Sylar," A) I really think I am over Sylar this time (NORMAN BATES, GET AWAY FROM NATHAN RIGHT THE FUCK NOW OR WE WILL THROW DOWN). B) Micah is my HERO and I never ever want him to go away again. C) FUCK YOU, HIRO.
04. Every time I watch Swing Kids, I get almost all the way through and think, "Damn, I guess I'm not going to cry this time." And then the last thirty seconds hit and I start weeping like a tiny child. I cannot believe there is not already fic for this movie, because Thomas is so obsessed with Peter that it sort of disturbs me. I totally have something started in my notebook, what. I love writing for non-existent fandoms!
05. Apparently I like a lot of songs that start with C? Refer again to these posts.
o1. Margot & the Nuclear So and So's - Cheap Motel Room: If you wanna walk away, just do so softly. I ain't in the mood to talk, so get up off me. No one ever leaves their home to go somewhere they detest.
[This is at least the third time I've posted this song, but I WILL NOT BE SATISFIED until every single one of you has downloaded this song & told me how much you love it. Or at least the first part to that sentence. ;p)
o2. Bright Eyes - The Calendar Hung Itself: I drug your ghost across the country and we plotted out my death. In every city memories would whisper, "Here is where you rest." I was determined in Chicago, but I dug my teeth into my knees, and I settled for a telephone saying into your machine, "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine..."
o3. Fiona Apple - The Child Is Gone: Honey, help me out of this mess. I'm a stranger to myself. But don't reach for me, I'm too far away. I don't wanna talk 'cause there's nothing left to say.
o4. Songs: Ohia - Captain Badass: Quote Captain Badass, "I am setting your heart on fire, so when you leave me I will burn on in your soul."
[One of my favorite songs in the entire world. Jason Molina is a god.]
o5. Ben Folds with Rufus Wainwright - Careless Whisper: I'm never gonna dance again...
[One of the best covers in the WHOLE WORLD.]
o6. Mirah - Cold Cold Water: And I'm so number one that it's a shame, a shame that you let other numbers in the game.
[This song is EPIC. Her voice, the lyrics - just, it's fucking perfect.]
o7. Phantom Planet - Confess: So you cross your friends off one by one either they're busy or they are no fun.
o8. Emily Haines & the Soft Skeleton - Crowd Surf off a Cliff: Cursed with a love that you can't express. It's not for a fuck or a kiss. Rather give the world away, than wake up lonely. Everywhere and every way, I see you with me.
o9. The Decemberists - Clementine (Elliott Smith cover): You drink yourself into slo-mo...
10. Nirvana - Come As You Are (Unplugged): Come, doused in mud, soaked in bleach, as I want you to be.
11. Glassjaw - Convectuoso: I dine with wolves again. I travel with theives again. What did I teach you? What did I teach you? You're lying, you're lying. We are OK, in a misguided sadist way. We are OK. We are OK, in a disabled veteran way. We are OK.
12. Tori Amos - Caught a Lite Sneeze: Caught a lite sneeze, dreamed a little dream, made my own pretty hate machine...
13. The Dresden Dolls - Colorblind: I know its dark for good. I never listen when I should. You only see in black and white, so go on back to your own kind, and I'll go back to mine.
[This song is so good that it sort of wrecks me every time I listen to it.]
14. The Strokes - Clampdown (Clash cover): But you grow up and you calm down and you're workin' for the Clampdown. You start wearing blue & brown and workin' for the Clampdown. Kick over the wall, cuz government's to fall. How can you refute it? Let fury have the hour, anger can be power. D'you know that you can use it?
