Frostbite is not the best ski/snowboard movie but it is the one I watched tonight. This follows the blueprints laid out in the 80s with Ski School and Hotdog the Movie. The biggest difference between Frostbite and its predecessors is the comedy is somehow cruder. With that said, there are also some weird sight gags that work about 10% of the time.

For what this movie is, it is enjoyable. I might be a little biased because I enjoy ski movies.

This was bad despite having some good actors in it.

Phil Morris and the guy playing the blind character are the only funny and redeeming things about this garbage pile and keeping this out of 1/2 star territory.

This is bad. I'd never even heard of this before, and the only reason I watched it was because it was in a double feature DVD pack with Club Dread.

Pass.

I must destroy every copy of Frostbite I see

Call me stupid but I laugh out loud so many times. Peter Jason steals the show as the insulting ex-colonel trainer richie.

The movie boils down to snowboarding sequences and the playboys picking on the poor guy, who finally goes down the big mountain and along with the other poor guys wins a competition and the right to take over the point.

A few beautiful topless girls, Traci Lords with huge boobies and some funny scenes make Frostbite watchable.

This film gives an accurate snapshot of the popular humor of the time period, which has since died off. Be ready for a few off color jokes, traci lords, and a good time!

I think they used library film of real skiers and snowboarders so there were some worthwhile segments.
