The Princess Bride
1987RIP Rob Reiner #2
I know every word, every shot, every music cue by heart. Arguably his greatest gift to audiences, utterly beloved by my family.

RIP Rob Reiner #1
I chose this for the first thing to watch since the news of his horrific passing broke, since he's all over the movie -- the framing device of the film is a cozy conversation between Reiner and Brooks (best friends since high school).
Sometimes one of these documentaries simply being a solidly made, loving tribute is enough. The adoration between the two of them made me cry today. What Albert must be going through right now...
Anyway, if you're a fan of Albert Brooks (how are you not?) I don't see how you couldn't enjoy this.
Best use of post-credits disclaimers in filmed entertainment history.
Saw this at the LA premiere tonight.
Impossible to be objective as my son Jake makes his film debut in it (in a pivotal role) and is terrific!
Proud Dad.
