For years I’ve been saying that movies are just recorded light energy projected through a lens and focused onto a reflective silver screen, then bounced into the viewer’s eye, where the convex ocular lens focuses it again onto the retina / fovea / macula—which in turn transmits the image patterns to the brain via the optic nerve, where somehow the mind decodes this light information and perceives it as images, ideas, story and emotions. I’ve been saying this for years.
