Underwhelming, but I enjoyed it. 

Much like the first of Burton’s Batman movies, I think production design is far and away the saving grace. All of the costumes, sets, and miniatures look amazing. The core performances are also really great in this, notably the villains. I’m not sure what it is, but I just cannot get into Keaton’s Bruce Wayne or Batman. I like the suit and gadgets enough, he just doesn’t really do much for me compared to the later iterations. 

Glad I finally got around to this, but it wasn’t as mind-blowing as I was expecting after everyone’s praise.
