Leon Hong
Actor, Singer, Teacher.
Leon graduated with his Master's degree in Musical Theatre from the Royal Academy of Music (RAM). He was also trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) for Screen Acting. Prior to moving to London, he also studied Stage Acting at Taipei National University of the Arts and Musical Theatre at Shanghai Conservatory of Music. He speaks Taiwanese, Mandarin, and English.
During his years of working, he has had experience performing in professional musical theatre, stage, as well as screen acting, commercials, and modelling. A strong mover, especially in contemporary dance, he also plays the Erhu (a traditional Chinese instrument) professionally. In 2020, he became the Artistic Director of LAMT Musical, an online academy of musical theatre. His teaching work has helped numerous students pursue their dreams.
On-Screen
Leon is an experienced screen actor and model. Recently, he appeared in "Love London" for the Greater London Authority and indie film productions such as "Unwanted" and "Milk Candies". Commercial-wise, he was cast for the "FILA Taiwan 2021 Summer Campaign" and "Burger King China" in 2019.
With his skills in accent work, Leon has also produced numerous training-purpose videos for UK-based companies, including "Arcadis" and "Stretch." Voice-over is also a field he is passionate about, with credits including "Flight" for Darkfield Events LTD and "Jackie Hart: Headhunter" for Studio Hazy.

Theatre
Leon is a professional stage actor, trained in three of the top acting schools in Taiwan, China, and the UK. He recently appeared in "Stephen Sondheim's Old Friend" and "Death Note the Musical (Cast Recording)".
Back in Taiwan, he made his professional debut in "Hope to Light" during the Taiwan tour, then moved to Shanghai, where he portrayed Oliver Warbucks in "Annie Jr." His other main credits in London include "The Light In The Piazza" and “Hello, Jerry” at The Sussie Sainsbury Theatre, "Maria Friedman & Friends - Legacy" at Menier Chocolate Factory, "With Blood in Mind" at The Other Palace, and "Fan Letter,” the K-Musical Showcase.

Teaching
Leon first served as a vocal and acting teacher at I-Musical Shanghai in 2018. Since then, he began his teaching career and in 2020, he became the Artistic Director of LAMT Musical, where he collaborates with other professionals and offers online singing and acting lessons.
His teaching method combines Estill Vocal Training with his years of experience, enabling students to sing with the utmost ease. He also focuses on Acting Through Song, which is crucial in musical theatre singing. With both a rich academic background and experience working in the industry, he has guided students from all over the world to obtain ABRSM certificates and helped them apply to schools in the UK. With numerous positive reviews and appreciation from his students, he aspires to become the bridge between the West and the East, bringing the finest musical training to the world.
