Like fish in a barrell, first of Ann Arbour's finest takes the Boycott worm...
WE HAVE A WINNER:
Their reply to this earlier post (on another LJ) was:
The fact of the matter is that the way to bring the point across is to attend presentations that do not involve this person. I planned on going to the book festival and I still will. However, hearing this news, I will make sure not to attend this individual's presentation/talk/whatever.
Of course, now I'd like to note just how silly and self-righteous your post sounds. It would have been just as effective had you kept out the "subhuman" business, which is both unnecessary and an insult to your intended audience's intelligence. The boycott anything that has the word "Summer" "Fest" "Ann" or "Arbor" is juvenile and the "We are YAK" is laughable. If you actually want someone to take this seriously, perhaps you should post an entry that isn't so subject to ridicule.
Having said that, I do applaud your effort to bring this to everyone's attention.
Sigh...
I'd give you this person's profile, but it would be mean to the person and the person's "pestigious" schools (especially their English Departments). If you are really curious and slightly cunning, you can figure it out for yourself.
