The group had wandered back to their apartment, trying to burn off energy so they could sleep normally. Kal had already huddled himself into a dark part of the room for the morning and Haru had slept in the same bed with Gigi, his reasoning being that "he was already there". Once the dawn came, the restless daywalkers raised themselves from the beds and got ready for their "mission".

A few hours of research told them that the boy they were looking for, Cecil Gibbons, was located in a sanitarium about 2 hours out of the city. With Kal's car and Dierdre driving, the three of them piled into the car and headed to upstate New York.
They had arrived at the sanitarium around 9am, completely lost on the massive property almost immediately.
"I wish Kal was here, he could all woosh around and find the way to the buildings..." Gigi whined, plopping herself down on the ground. Dierdre sighed.
"We'll find it eventually," she tried to say enthusiatically. Gigi sighed heavily before attempting to get off the ground before requesting assistance from a reluctant Haru.
A few more minutes of wandering landed them on the side of a white building with 5 floors. Gigi cheered upon sight of the building and ran as fast as a pregnant girl could before halting herself in front of the building.
"Yay we found it!...Now how do we get in...?" she said, peering up at the building.
"We find the door," Haru said, shoving his hands into his pockets to keep them warm, his scarf already wrapped around his face to keep the warmth of his breath as long as possible. Gigi let out an exasperated moan and a sharp noise came from above them, causing them all to look up and see a pair of legs jutting from an open window.
Five seconds later, Malcolm was holding a very perturbed platinum topped young man in his arms. Malcolm's face matched that of the escapee.
