33rd Plan [Spam]
[Puns and candy. Who doesn't love puns and candy?
The Admiral might be silent on the topic of Valentine's day, but that doesn't mean Leonard Snart isn't about to harass every person he knows, friend and foe and casual acquaintance alike, with hand-made cutesy Valentine's day cards, for the sheer thrill of annoying people.
Which is why he'll be slipping Valentines under the doors of pretty much everyone he knows on the ship, along with a heart-felt pun tailored to that specific person. He'll do it sneakily in the middle of the night, but it's no question who's really responsible and he won't deny it.]

Happy Valentine's day, Cold.

I'm touched.

[He tosses a small bag at him.]
Chocolate I picked up in port. Actually, some might be fish covered by chocolate? My Swedish isn't the best.

What is this about, Cold? Has a flood started?
[Clearly the only explanation for notes like this. Clearly.]

Rain or shine, I'll weather anything for you]
You don't have Valentine's Day in your world, Chandler?

Roses are Red,
Violets are Blue,
The way St. Valentines Day will be celebrated 200 years after my death is one of the few parts of modern life which remains more confusing than you.
Yours Sincerely,
Your completely secret, and not at all fathomable admirer.
[xoxoxox Be glad Hornblower doesn't understand emoji's or there would be some ironic monkey faces on there too.]

[Yours might have said something along the lines of;
It's plain to sea, I've gone overboard for you]

You are terrible, you know that?

[ After all, he's got plenty of experience with Mr. Snart's punnery. It didn't take long to figure out from there. ]

No poet worth their salt or fame
Would e'er put forth the ink or wit
To shift their metaphor from flame
Instead to frigid cold and yet
To watch the climb of frost, it holds
A certain crystal elegance
And no one can deny the cold
And weightless waltz that snowflakes dance
The way it haunts the bones with no
Respect for age or race or creed
The heat of cheeks, the rosy glow,
That we endure for want or need.
We only see from eye to eye sometimes
But all the same: the best of Valentines.
[ It is unsigned. ]

She uses leaf-thin titanium sheets to make half a dozen origami birds, and she reinforces their wings with silicon-bonded microfilaments to make them fly. They're not very good at it, but Iris feels that just makes them better.
Each bird is inscribed with a line of the following rhyme:
Violets are blue
Roses are pink
Sod Valentine's day
Just get me a drink
Then she loads each bird with glitter and lies in ambush to send them fluttering around Cold's head like drunken glitter-shitting butterflies.
