Text for Xie Lian
i would be amenable to asking the admiral for the return of my healing powers as soon as possible if you are willing [The text comes in while the cleanup is still ongoing, and the lack of capitalization and punctuation is probably telling. It also took him over five minutes to manage the message with his burned and bandaged hands.]
Texts separately for Taylor, Rags, Kiryu, Archer, Gonou, Zack and Ulla
are you safe
Text for xiao Jedao
thank you
are you well
Spam for Zhao Yunlan
It turns out that Shen Wei's Dixingren physiology was not compatible with any of the treatments available, and so he's still suffering from second and third degree burns on his face, hands, shoulders, back and chest, as well as smoke inhalation that leaves him wheezing and short of breath. He'd seen no point in staying in the infirmary, however, given nothing more could be done for him, and had insisted on accompanying Zhao Yunlan' back to his quarters... very slowly and laboriously.
Once there he has little choice but to allow Zhao Yunlan to help him change out of his charred robes and settle carefully on the couch, though there is no position he can comfortably maintain that doesn't put pressure on at least some of his burns. But at least they're home, and the worst of Zhao Yunlan's injuries have been healed... though by no means all of them, and Zhao Yunlan doesn't bother arguing with him about joining him on the couch--barely touching out of deference to both of their injuries.
"I am sorry, Zhao Yunlan," he rasps, then starts in on coughing again. "One moment... I will contact... Xie Lian... and... request he... ask the Admiral for... the return of my healing powers."

Private | Voice
Re: Private | Voice
I asked... if you are safe.
I am glad... you are.
Re: Private | Voice
I am. Though my warden burned and I had to heal him.
...You sound like you need it too.

It's not the embrace he'd like to give, but it's going to have to do until Shen Wei can heal himself.
He hates how wholly useless he feels.
"You need to heal yourself," he continues voice soft, and rubs his thumb over that little patch of skin.

"And you," he counters. Because he is, despite his current condition, more concerned with Zhao Yunlan's remaining injuries than his own... though he knows better than to tell Zhao Yunlan he's used to pain this time.

"I'm okay, baby. Believe me, I'm not going to turn down you healing me, but only after you do yourself. You're in bad shape."
And watching Shen Wei hurting hurts him more than his own pain.
Differently, but more.

"Didi... is com-" He breaks off with a startled gasp as he feels the dark energy coursing through him again, sparking along his nerves, calling him to reach for it. His next breath is easier as his body begins to slowly repair itself, though there's no visible change in his wounds yet; the internal damage has been prioritized without any conscious choice on his part.
"My healing has been returned," he murmurs, and there's still no strength in his voice, but the wheeze is gone and he doesn't break down coughing after stringing together that many words.

Private Audio
I'm afraid I can't read your text.
Re: Private Audio
Please... ask the Admiral... for my healing back. [There are other powers he'd like back as well, but he can discuss those with Xie Lian when he can actually think and speak coherently again.]
