It is finished
Surgery's done; I came through just fine. Recovery was about 100 times harder than it was for when I got my wisdom teeth removed (my only other surgery experience). But Phil was there throughout and he kept me smiling. :)
We came back to my apartment afterwards and slept for a while, then had to go out to fill my prescription. Then we went to a friend's house and hung out for a while. While I was there, I got to see some of an anime series that I never heard of before: Desert Punk. It's really good.
That was much more entertaining than sleeping. Took my mind off the pain, too.
Am quite high on percocet. Gonna go to bed in a minute.
