Kevin Brown is a Black-American writer, author, and mangaka from the capital region of New York. He is a life-long martial artist and fan of anime and manga. His debut manga Lion’s Game: Masters of Mali has been critically acclaimed by both Kirkus Reviews and Indie Reader. His work centers on the underrepresented topics of black and African martial arts and per-colonial African cultures.

Kevin is currently published under Black Sands Entertainment, one of the largest black-owned comic book publishers in the U.S.
