I live! I just fail at updating. ^^;;;; Which is why this journal is chalk full of huge mega update posts after I go for so long without saying a word. Oops?
So let's see. Where does Raven stand in life? Well, I've actually taken on some responsibility, which is a good thing. Most of you guys know that I'm involved in my local lifestyle communities. My involvement has gone up a step in the past few months. I've actually taken over one group. It's TNG, The Next Generation (and no, it has nothing to do with Star Trek and I didn't pick the title XD), which is a group for those in the lifestyle who are between the ages of 18-35. The group's been around for awhile and I've been involved in it, but the couple who was running it just didn't have time anymore, due to jobs and planning their wedding. Which I can completely understand.
I'm also a member of the exec board of the larger group in Lexington now. I was pretty much shang hai-ed by Brandy onto the board, but I don't mind in all honesty. It means that I can help out more, and I'm all for that. I was pretty surprised though. I got a call from one of the other board members (Ellie) out of the blue one day, asking if I could make it to the board meeting later that day. Got a ride from Neko and was promptly told I was now a board member and had no choice. XDD Gotta love 'em. Hehe.
Let's see. It's coming up on Will and I's one year anniversary as well. YAY! We started out the festivities last weekend by going to Colossalcon, since that was part of our honeymoon last year. It was really a blast! Katie went with us and we cosplayed Code Geass; got a LOT of picture requests since there aren't many CG cosplayers yet. Amusingly enough, the first time I ever saw Code Geass was on our wedding night. XD Those two hours at a hotel waiting to go to the airport, randomly turned on the TV and saw what looked like a new CLAMP anime. Took me ages to track down the show. ^^;
Vic was at the con, my personal highlight! I love him so much, he's really awesome! He was only able to be there on Saturday due to time constraints and work, but it was still pretty awesome. He made it to the FMA Q&A panel, as well as doing a private concert/hang out thing. He really does so much to make fans happy. And on that note, OMG. Vic as Tamaki in Ouran is just... flippin' AWESOME. XDDD
I've found myself mildly obsessed with Ouran High School Host Club... Well, okay, erase the 'mildly' part of that sentence. Hehe. It has awoken something I thought looooooooooong dead- the yaoi fangirl inside me. >.> I thought I got over that years ago. She was just hibernating apparently. Although she's not as horrible as she was way back when. I've found that my favorite pairing is Haruhi/twins, followed swiftly by Haruhi/Tamaki.
Also, OMG! I bought a set of sketches from the production of BSSM! It's a three piece sequence of Sailor Moon and Sailor Neptune being thrown during battle, and jhajdhfajhsdf! I will have to take piccies and upload them at some point, they're just absolutely gorgeous! We're going to get them framed and hang them up in the living room of the apartment. I got them from a vendor in the dealer's room who also had a beautiful cell of Sailor Moon with Luna and Artemis, but it sadly sold before I could drag hubby and wallet to the vendor. Although, considering the cell was like, $125, it was prolly for the best.
Mmmmmm, trying to think if there's anything else right now. Will and I are spending this coming weekend at Six Flags: Kentucky Kingdom for our anniversary. Go figure that our anniversary is Father's day . >.< I'm excited about it though! And I think that's about it for now. I'll try and update regularly, but you know me. I can't promise. Gotta run though. Making dinner!
