Hallowe'en

We had an awesome Halloween! The hurricane happened but Philadelphia dodged the bullet somehow and we didn't even lose power. It got a bit scary Monday night, but fallen branches were the worst of it. Everyone was back to work/school on Wednesday and Halloween festivities were on. (Well, Toby's school party was moved to Friday.) Gid was a scarecrow this year -- it was such an easy costume to make, but it was a hit and it was surprisingly creepy. Toby was Finn from the Adventure Time cartoon. He wears costumes every day of his life, so I let him decide last minute. We met up with some friends to trick or treat and I do think it was a quieter year than usual, but our neighborhood is awesome and that means there weren't bands playing and packed block parties, but plenty of neighbors out and costumes.

So! It's over! It feels odd. I need to find myself and make a new to do list.
