Playing Catch-Up With my Kimono Ensembles
I've been meaning to post to this comm for a little bit now, I just haven;t gotten around to it yet.
I'll start with my latest ensemble. I was hoping to be able to wear this to a local convention coming up. Although I'm not able to go, I decided to get dressed up anyway. (Sorry for the over-brightness of the photo, there is no happy medium when it comes to the lighting in my house)

I would have gotten more pics except hubby decided to "help" me straighten my obi and it all came crashing down... literally!
This next one was just a quick dressing I did because I wanted to wear my new tsukesage.

Hasty kitsuke is messy! Otherwise I was quite pleased with how this ensemble turned out.
And finally a pic simple for the cuteness factor. This is my oldest daughter Ciara, who wants to dress in kimono whenever she sees me dressing too. i haven't gotten her a kimono yet (although I am hoping to this christmas) so to tide her over I put one of my haori on her and tied it with me obi-age.

I accidentally crossed her collars wrong. It's kinda hard to dress a bouncy three-year old.
C+C welcome but please be gentle, I've only been practicing for about two months now.
Thanks for looking!
