Hello again

Saw that there was an update and just checked out what changed, heres some things i noticed:

Cash and balance amount get stuck and don't change until the study/work/rest button is pressed. Something with the tick update may be broken in coding.

Pay all debt button works, but doesn't show the correct amount, only shows what i would be paying when i click a debt on itself aka "consumer debt" 900 but the button shows 180.

Assets list names, some have "consumption" before it. Example: "consumptionHealthCheckValue". Probably just a small coding mishap.

Case brief stops after 3 out of 7, there is no 4,5,6 nor 7.

Waited till death and i didn't die, day counter froze no income ticks but i could still buy stuff. 

Edit: Nvm i did die just took some waiting. While i like what you did with the new death screen. If a player owns too much the heirs window will get major overlap and the text is scrambled. Also don't know if ive just been lucky but i feel there should be a small randomness in the death window, as both of my deaths were 108 yo

For now that should be all the small fixes i found.

I dont know if you can hide comments from other people but i recommend deleting my last comment thread as it is getting long and we dont wanna jumble up the comment section.

I might sadly be too stupid to figure this game out. Otherwise i had fun, great puzzle game. Only hope for me is maybe a hint button in future updates.

I see a lot of potential in this one and hope it does get through your initial screening for interest. I really like the old windows aesthetic you are going for. 

I was a little dumb with mining thorium so maybe add a first time mining poppup or text to help people know that you have to hold it.

Other than that this was a nice breath of fresh air.

More notes i could find were:

While doing a simple butterfly click the game performance dropped and as a result while the clicks went trough and my money increased the day counter slowed and sometimes even stopped for prolonged times. After i experimented with an autoclicker and it only needed 10 clicks per second to kinda stop the day counter without braking the click response. Might wanna have a look at that. Idk if the day counter is fixed to frames but with more lag the days got longer. But refreshing the tab fixed it.

Also while this might seam harsh, i see no point to the event tab as you could just merge the timeline and event tab to keep it simpler. Make it like a dropdown window if needed. Just dont see the purpose of both. Plus the timeline tab only goes back the last 12 years which also makes it kinda pointless.

Another little quality of life thing could be a pay all debts button if u have enough funds.

Something weird just stat wise i noticed with buying the island is that the island plus the "loan" so i expected to see that my networth and assets would be 5+ mil atleast but no.

The tutorial boxes are a little broken, as  slides 4 and 6 dont show the correct places.

Finally died had 160 children and couldnt scroll through them.

I hope all of this isnt too burdensome. Looking forward to updates and other patches. Keep going and in my own language "tasa sõuad, kaugele jõuad".

Anyways ill go check out your other projects some time in the future.

Had a more detailed look now that it doesnt crash. Thank you for that. Anyway here are some more stuff i noticed while playing. English is not my first language so pardon me if some things might not make sense.

Looked into the games code for some parts. Btw it is very neat and tidy, i like it. I am not an expert in coding but i can read it to some extent.

While the code does say that the max amount of offline time increases with bucket level it is not shown in the stat/config menu which may lead so little misunderstandings.

If there is multiple fish in stack, if you select it maybe make it show a simplified list of the fish or just the description without gender weight etc. rather than the first one that was caught. One might think you have 27 fishies with the same attributes.

When you fulfill an order the fish do not disappear from your inventory. Might be just a simple code error.

Starlight rod also has a minor text glitch

Would be nice to have a little mark next to the hatcheries that have fish in them. In the future maybe a mark if there has spawned new fish etc.

Would be nice if in the future there is a button to simplify exporting a save if someone wants to update the verion they are playing on. As a lot of the players might not be competent enough to get it from the game folders. Could be added onto the stats menu.

Maybe be able to highlight/lock fish in your inventory so you dont accidentally sell them while waiting for an order to finish.

I am sure there might be some stuff more but for now that is all. :P

I see a lot of potential in this one. The problem i am facing right now is that while the offline works and the game works it closes the entire game if i have played more than like 10 minutes. Task manager shows that the game is opening and then closing itself right away. Dont know what the problem might be.

Smallest problem ever is that there are a couple of description errors in the reinforced rod and sharp hook.

Edit: found the problem the game doesnt want to start after shutting down and opening the pc

Impressive quick updates. Moving around the screen is a lot more smoother and no further problems with the village card.

Killed the lich while being a lvl11 mage, now lvl2 wizard. Pet was arcane unicorn lvl10.

There is a problem with the blacksmith as it says he can uncombine weapons but nothing works. Dragging weapons onto him nor him onto weapons. As such making weapons turns into a chore and having enough arcanite to make weapons and even combinations will be hard right now. Leveling up the companion is easier as a lvl 10 pet will kill the lich easily.

 Otherwise good game looking forward to the next update.

Same problem as Tahnan, not being able to move the village and the other items moved it off the "playing field". Also i recommend changing the screen moving button from mousewheel button to right click as it would be more intuitive. Also doesnt constrain the player to having to need  the mouse.

Otherwise fun game, looking forward to further development. :)
