American Idol Tour 2008!!
Well holy crap, let me just say… Thursday night’s show was freaking AWESOME. I went with my friend Leah (
ladyle). Everybody did an amazing job, I think. The audience really loved them all, they would clap and yell for all of them. But I think the ones that got the most applause were our favorite “sexontehbus” foursome (The Davids, MJ, Castro) and Carly. Let’s have a review on that, m’kay?
By the way, let me just say how much I love the way they did the intro for them on the jumbo-tron. You hear the first notes of the music they’re about to perform, and then on the jumbo-tron, you see their silhouette next to their number of elimination, and it’s all “NUMBER 10, CHIKEZIE!”
Chikezie: I actually heard he got sick the night before (food poisoning, maybe), the reason why he wasn’t present for the group performance for PDSTM. But that night, he didn’t show any signs of being sick. He just kept on doing his thing and sounded great. A real performer right there, true fact.
Ramiele: Awwww she’s so tiny! She’s was standing in the middle of these two back-up dancers, she’s looks so adorably small. But you know, for such a small person, she has a very powerful voice. There were these high notes that she hit… OMGosh, amazing.
MJ: After Ramiele performed, you hear the first beats to “We Will Rock You” and then on the jumbo-tron, you see MJ’s silhouette… the arena went WILD. Leah was possibly thinking “HOLY SHIT, ITS TEH SEX” she kept saying that all night about him, true fact. Guys, I’m not kidding, the man is simply hot and a real rocker. LOL During his performance of “Dream On”, Leah and I kept making orgasm-jokes. I said something like “I am so turned on right now.” she then said, “Are you reaching your peak?” I laughed and said, “Yea, I’m climaxing.” MJ *sigh* I love you.
Kristy Lee: I know a lot of people are not fond of her, but you know what? I thought she did a good job. I bopped my head a couple of times during her performance, she’s alright in my head.
Carly: Let me just say… If there were chicks I would go gay for, she would be one of them. The woman is flipping gorgeous, no lie. She must’ve lost weight, I saw it on her face, it looked slimmer. The crowd loved her, her voice is so beautiful. HA! And there was this guy sitting in our area, he randomly yelled out, “I LOVE YOU, CARLY!” and yes, I love Carly too.
Brooke: She’s so sweet, I love that girl. She made us snap our fingers during “1, 2, 3, 4” SQUEE! Lovely.
Castro: GOOD GOD, that boy is so effing gorgeous! His eyes, its his eyes. X__X Alright, I love Archie’s version of “Crazy” but you know what? I loved the way Jason sang it too. It was so… sexy.
Syesha: Not surprisingly, she has a lovely voice. She hit those high notes in all the right places. Haha I actually felt a little guilty during her performance b/c all I kept thinking was about was the next guy that was about to perform…
Baby-D: “DAVID ARCHULETA!” When his name boomed through the arena, that crowd fucking lost it. They screamed, I screamed, Leah screamed… MADNESS. He comes up with his piano and I look at him from the jumbo-tron, and holy shit, the whole thing is so surreal to me. How many times do we talk about him, fangirl about him, have lusty thoughts about him? And then there he is… I couldn’t believe I’m watching him, hearing him. I felt myself wanting to cry. That boy right there, he excites me so much. OH! And can I say that his facial expressions during his performances were FIERCE, SIMPLY FIERCE. He was sexing us up, true fact.
Big-D: Baby-D then introduces us to Cook with “This next guy right here, we had sex last night…” Ok, I’m joking, but dang it if he wasn’t thinking it… In all honesty, me thinks Cookie-Monster got the most cheers. He was SO gosh darn exhilarating, that man really knows how to work a crowd. He can snap his fingers and I guarantee that we would bow down to him.
Group Performance Moments: MJ & Chikezie did this hand chopping motion... LOL. Also, there was this Mavid Moment where they both did this weird dance number with their arms. Looked like they stirring something in mid air. But whatever it was, it brought confusion and the LULZ from me.
Cookleta Moments: I can name two moments that happened during their group performance. One: When Baby-D crosses paths with Cook, I SWEAR TO YOU, I think I saw them hand-touch each other (“hand-touch” is my new word now. it sounds quite saucy, doesn’t it?). Two: When they do their usual walk down the aisle XD~~* and pointing to one another, Archie cutely points at Cook, AND also jumps excitedly up and down.
Meet & Greet Moments: Kristy Lee runs down to the end of the line and gives us all high fives. Jason makes a realization of some sort b/c he says, “Yea, I guess that was me” Michael Johns giving Leah and I hugs! I had my hand under his sweaty armpit, it was fucking awesome, true fact. David Archuleta… my, oh my. That boy has some kind of power over me. There were so many things I wanted to say to him, “Are you and Cook lovers?”, “Happy One-Year Anniversary!” (July 31, 2007 was the day he auditioned for AI) “Would you like some chicken?” But all the things I wanted to say to him COMPLETELY left my mind. He was actually supposed to sign this Cookleta-Piggyback ride picture that I had with me but I fucking froze when I saw how close he was to us. When Leah and I were leaving that’s when it hit me, “oh shit, he didn’t sign the cookleta picture!” (I am SO sorrysmartah! I know how much you wanted Cook & Archie’s autograph on that pic, but my mind went wonky on me. FORGIVE ME? *gives you The Archuleta Puppy Dog Eyes*) LULZ Dudes, when you’re in the presence of David Archuleta, you will become shocked-shitless. You would think you’ll be smooth with him and not freak out… HALE NAW. Your mind will blank out and you’ll end up staring at his pretty face. And OMGosh, Archie did the most awkwardly-adorable thing ever… and it involves me! Ok, I had my autograph-paper and purse-bag both next to each other, here’s the thing… the other idols knew that my bag was not meant to be signed, but Archie being Archie, he accidentally signed my bag. I discreetly point at my bag, look at him a little, and whisper to Leah, “ummm, he signed my bag.” He must’ve heard me or saw the look on my face, because he adorably says “oh! Sorry.” and of course he nervously laughs which made me giggle madly. Heh! Sadly, the only ones that didn’t come out were Chikezie, Ramiele, and Cook. I’m not sure why, but darn!
After Archie, Leah and I went home afterwards, with me cradling my accidentally signed Archie purse-bag. We talked non-stop during the car ride home with Leah’s mom, then “The Long and Winding Road” started playing on the radio and I excitedly yelled out “Archie sang that!” Oh Archie, you are forever engraved into my head, no complaints though.
Gotta say, when I woke up the next morning, I felt a little sad. Its all over now, no AI concerts to look forward to anymore. :( *LE SIGH* I really hope to see them all again, they’re too much fun. ARCHIE! I want a second chance to see that boy one more time! And can I not freeze next time???
