birding for kids
Has anyone else had the opportunity to see the nature documentary Julia did in 1999 called "Birding for Kids?" It's something I came across during a random catalog search at my local library a couple weeks back.
The video is obviously geared towards kids and teaches them the basics about identifying birds and about attracting them to their own backyards. Julia acts as narrator, as well as having plenty of onscreen time. Something fun to watch, that's for sure. (Both my cats enjoyed it, too.)
Now every time I see a gold finch I can't help but think of Julia talking about the "jaunty black cap" it wears. Good times.
