My first marathon and first endurance race that lasted 5:45:26. Reaching 30,898 entries, the 40th Honolulu Marathon was the second largest marathon in America in 2012. The exotic location in Hawaii and the aloha spirit made the race a popular destination among first-time marathoners.

The classic route from Marathon to Athens. This race commemorates the run of the soldier Pheidippides from the town of Marathon to Athens in 490 B.C., bringing news of a Greek victory over the Persians. This IAAF Gold Label Road Race is perhaps one of the most difficult major marathon.

I was the first amateur runner from Taiwan to ever participated in this full marathon race. Achieving a person best of 4:06:27, I was also the last runner before the official closed the gate. This mysterious and highly competitive event took place at Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea.

A mix of spray and water based masonry paint. My first time painting with a brush, learned a lot.

A mix of spray and oil based paint. Didn't even know how to dilute the paint, was so funny.

My first real attempt in creating new colors from the primary colors. Water based masonry paint.

It was very interesting to imitate the Chinese water ink texture with only spray paints.
