Awesome thanks for recommending both. I'll check em out. Also thanks for mentioning the animation speed thing. Thankfully with Godot is pretty simple to achieve that.

Would you recommend one of your effects pack to go along with the samurai theme for a side scroller? Or do you think any of the packs would be okay to purchase? I'm looking something more for combat effects, like parry. Stun, land and hit. Hopefully it makes sense.

Thanks!

oh gotcha, i thought you meant you already had one uploaded to itch and I couldn't find it.

Noice, i'd love to see something like that for the Samurai Pack. Can you share here your other GUI/UI pack(s)?

Related to your Samurai bundle, do you think you will ever try adding some GUI/UI elements that go with the theme of any of your Samurai packs?

Have you used these tools for color palette suggestions? Just a thought, maybe they are worth checking out and broaden your skills or something. Cheers!

Awesome, thank you :). Hopefully when the time comes and I start working with your assets i'll be able to share a simple game demo. I'm currently trying to finish up my first godot game with a similar theme just by another artist.

Hey I'm really interested in getting your Samurai bundle, i just have one question. Regarding the playable character, is there only 1 just repeated in each pack? or does each pack have its own playable character?

btw i think you can just fork aseprite in your pc freely without paying, unless you want to support the devs and pay for the license.

I think it does make more sense now, thank you so much!

Do you have an example of how some of the slope tiles are connected? There seem to be a lot of variant tiles and is throwing me off a bit.

Thanks In advance.

I love your art style. Started creating a game on my own in Godot just to learn the engine and having a ton of fun with your asset bundle. So far I've been using the Executioner (plan on using all the bundle eventually).

Any chance of including a stun animation? And possibly adding a stun to all your enemies if haven't done so already?

edit: For now i'm using the first 7 frames of attack_1 in a loop as a stun animation. Works fine, but it'd be nice to have an actual dedicated Stun animation. I'm sure you'd make it look great.

Great assets! Got one of your bundles. Is the defend animation assuming you always block an attack? I was hoping the animation would just do a block with no effect. I guess I can remove the effect in aseprite or something.

A walk + defend would also be neat for consideration.

Edit: as I wrote this I realized I can just pick and choose frames from the same file. What a silly goose.
