Reminded me of Trials (in a good way). Fun concept, so hard to control the spin by mouse only.
This was fun. I can spin like a bee... wee!
Very awesome game! This kinda reminds me of the old school mobile game "hill climb racing" but in a more fast paced way! The flips were satisfying and I wish there were more levels and variety tbh but at the moment, this feels like such a good bite sized game! Very clean visuals with fitting sound effects and music and I would say its kinda serious! Overall, I had fun playing this game even in a short period of time! Great work!
3127 cm w/ 76 spins! Lovely game, I love how conducive everything is with each other, and I bet this could be easily expanded upon with mechanics from the old games like Learn to Fly if you so wish.
Just noticed the tagline lmao
After a few days of voting on game jams and getting mentally tired from doing it, this is the first game I'm checking out today and this game is really so fun and put a smile on my face. What's more it's about bees!
The audio sfx works really well, the spin to boost mechanic is great, the in game tutorial was perfectly simple and easy to understand, the visuals work very well, the vibe is light, and everything about the game is just nice and fun. I honestly don't think there is anything to dislike. The only thing I can think of that could be improved is that the spin counter still goes after the time limit ends if the bee is up in the air--or maybe that's intentional and you wanted it to count until the bee hits the ground again.
Great job! I love this one.
I'm glad you think so, I wanted to keep it simple because I tend to over complicate games I've made in the past so it's very gratifying to find people tend to agree.
The spin counter going up after the time ends was something I couldn't decide on. Ultimately distance is what counts and it was intentional that that wouldn't be recorded until the player touched the ground so I figured I'd do the same for spins. I see it both ways though. Thanks for the feedback!
