This was a really atmospheric one - the lighting and setup was this oppressive atmosphere that felt like it would creep in on all sides. Every time I saw a closed door, I was checking it on my next pass to make sure it hadn't opened, constantly watching corners expecting something to jump out.

The lack of any jumpscares in my runthrough was promising - because it let that tension ride, and rise, and I could never tell if there even WAS a monster lurking down there in the dark with me.

I made it to the end without ever encountering anything - which until I read through here, left me wondering if it was genuinely something even in the game, or if I'd simply gotten lucky. It gave me the same feeling of a horror movie, where you can see the danger is just right behind the protagonist, but they never realize just how close to the edge they were.

With a proper ending scene added this would have truly slapped - because for playthroughs like mine, it would've made it abundantly clear that I was in fact not safe.

The sound design was awesome - everything feeling old and graty and clunky really made the entire place feel ancient. The visual aesthetics and that crunchy pixel look also added to that horror feel, like I was watching this all through a found recording. A solid use of lighting really sold the atmosphere - with my only critique, like others have said, maybe being to use that light to indicate visually where you need to go.

The opening space and finding the actual entrance to the side rooms took me a good minute - but I felt like scouting out the unknown doing so, and once I realized what I was hunting for, the puzzles all started to click into place.

A really fun puzzle horror game. The tension building was great here.

Wow, amazing work! It's quite creepy and the environment is very nicely done! For me it was a bit hard to figure out what to do next, but I don't do a lot of gaming, so it's probably more a lack of experience than a flaw of the game. :D

Overall it has a very special atmosphere, you did great!

Developer

Thank you for the review! We appreciate that. The difficulty of the game is indeed unbalanced for now, but we're planning on finishing and polishing the game some time after the jam, so stay tuned!

Played the game for 3 Scary games 2026 Ep 12 and I enjoyed the sense of urgency to escape the factory thought I dod not get much pay off from the monster jumpscare the chat and I had fun anyway. I can't wait to see the completed version.

Developer

Thank you so much!

We will 100% work on new ways to scare better you next time :)

Was a fun time! Reminds me of those work in a alternate world type of games. Plus I love the pixelated graphics which add that old school feel and the environments depicts that depths of who knows where feel so WELL. In any case great game, hope your finished product turns out even better

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your kind words!

We'll be working hard to continue working on this project, improving it and adding more content.

Great game! I did find  a bug where  I accidentally threw a gear underneath the fallen door an couldn't pick it up anymore, I think it should be pretty easy to replicate. The atmosphere was awesome! Great job guys!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback!

We didn't even think about the door... thanks for letting us know! We'll fix it right away :)

This is sooo good ! The atmosphere in this game was terrifying, the only reason I still managed to play it was "the developers wouldn't add a monster, they wouldn't do that to me" LOL I was horrified the entire game but I was brave and beat it on my own :')

I had to restart the game first because the crank didn't connect to the gear at first? It just landed on the floor and I couldn't pick it back up. Then when I finally understood what was happening I "randomly" died because I didn't understand the lose condition (or I didn't see the monster oops). It was slightly difficult to understand what I was supposed to be doing at first but I quickly got over it. The stairs were confusing too, they looked like I could use them but I assume it's just part of the set design.

Would love a longer game, you really achieved a very uneasy feeling in a really cool setting. Congrats !

Developer(+2)

> "the developers wouldn't add a monster, they wouldn't do that to me"
Ahahaha, yeah...

Thanks for playing!
We 100% plan to continue working on this project after the jam, adding more content and fixing all the gameplay issues.

Most likely, this will be a complete relaunch of the project, with proper, non-hardcoded.. code, a new, fixed map, proper models, new sounds, and overall updated gameplay.

We'll be very happy if you come back when the game is released!

Submitted(+2)

I'll be looking forward to it ! :D (oh god they're gonna make the monster more obvious to scare me specifically)

Developer(+2)

AHAHAH, nooo, how dare we :))

The game is well polished and has cleaned gameplay as well. Love how much u were able to do in this small about of time.

This suggestion is personal, Yellow paint in games spoiled me, but it would nice if there were a some kind of flickering light/ other visual clues of things.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for your feedback!

Proper game- and level design are definitely the first things we'll be working on in future updates.
Unfortunately, we spent so much time on all the other mechanics that we didn't have time to make the map more obvious :)

Submitted(+2)

Crazy to see almost the same game concept In a completely different genre and style HAHAHAHAHA> Love the horror and rustic look of the environment.

I had a hard time finding my way at the start, each corner I kept thinking there might  been a jumpscare. But once i figured out everything the puzzle were immaculate. My only qualms is the lack of some form of direction or instructions, but It is expect when you're thrown into a random rustic factory.

Developer(+1)

I'm so glad you played our game!

Now you see exactly what I was talking about in my comment :)

Thank you so much for your kind words about our puzzles! This was a drastic change, almost at the last minute of the jam, and we were worried that we might have made them unclear / too easy OR too difficult.

In the next update (which we've already made but didn't manage to realease it on time), we've tried to fix all the issues with the unclear start. Some screenshots from this update will already be on the game page.

Thanks again for your feedback

during the game i felt like i was myself a gear of this mechanism

Developer

THIS is exactly the kind of dedicated employees the Company was looking for!

Thank you for your service.

Nice work! After being convinced the crank can't be cranked once placed by accidentally standing in the sweet spot of having the gear highlighted but not being able to crank, I proceeded to attempt (and eventually succeed in) speedrunning the two puzzle rooms before the power went out. After that accomplished absolutely nothing, I cheated and watched the video in the comments to figure out cranking was indeed possible

Developer

Thanks so much for the feedback!

We've already prepared a major update fixing all the minor issues with trigger zones and dead pixels, but it wasn't until later that I noticed the files were no longer uploadable.

So, the update will be right after the jam!

I like it, but the crank its really easy to miss, the first two times i was kinda lost wonder what to do, then i see the water pump puzzle and, i dont know if im dumb, but i could not resolve it and hyperfixate in it and still couldnt do it, stil great atmosphere and visuals!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback!

Some players do struggle with this water pump puzzle, and we had little to no time to make it easier, so yes, this is definitely something we will change in future updates.

In the next version crank will be more visible and harder to miss!

Submitted(+2)

Looks great, but I have no idea how to avoid the enemy. I got killed 3 times in different spots with, as far as I can see, no way to predict it

Developer

The player's main goal is to prevent "something" from appearing. But yes, we've already received some feedback that not everyone understands how to manage the factory right away.

Very soon (within an hour at most) we'll be releasing an updated version with many design improvements. We hope the game becomes more understandable!

Thank you for playing!

Submitted(+2)

Rest assured, my pants have been shat.

Developer

And we are very glad to hear it, actually ;)

Thanks!

Submitted(+2)

This is so cool and atmospheric. I got genuinely very scared in the corridors while searching for more gears to add to the wall. It took me a couple of tries to understand what I was meant to do at the start, I didn't even see the crank the first time around and was a bit lost. I think it would be helpful to have a little bit more direction in those particular circumstances. Otherwise I really liked the in-world map and visual cues, it felt very immersive. Great work!

Developer

Thank you! We are really glad that the visuals influenced your gameplay well :)

We will look into more intuitive starting guide in the future updates!

Submitted(+2)

The game was good however I could not figure out the controls you need a tutorial or at least a menu! 1/5 Enjoyment.

The game was uncreative just another atmosphere I could find in any other game and there was no spinning! 1/5 Creativity & Theme.

The visuals were stunning and very good for horror. 5/5 Visuals.

The music and footsteps were the same as every other horror game but I guess if something works use it! 5/5 audio.

The game was very seriousness as all horror is. 5/5 Seriousness

This game gets a 17/25 rating.

Developer(+2)

Thank you for the honest feedback!

We had little to no time to add a proper control guide, so we added a simple text in the pause menu, where all the controls are listed. But, I believe it's pretty difficult to open the pause menu in WEB version, so that's something we'll look into in the future updates!

The theme was used a little more "deeply" than it initially appears. Everything in the game is about spinning something. You spin a gear to start the main mechanism, you fix leaks by tightening (again, spinning) valves on pipes, you solve puzzles by... spinning them. But nethertheless, thank you for your feedback! This will help us continue to improve our project! <3

Shiver me timbers, I was so ready for something to dart at me in those hallways.

Developer

Thank you! We worked really hard on the visual style.

We'll consider creating an Extended Version with more content and a scarier atmosphere >:)

Submitted(+2)

the vibes are immaculate and had me feeling like a kid staying up too late to play scary games.

genuinely made chills run up may back a few times, so hats off to the sound designer for that one.

Developer

Thank you so much!

We worked really hard on the atmospheric aspect - we put a lot of effort into the sound design and visual style. Because of this, we might have missed some key content-wise, but reading your comment, we know we were right in our priorities!

The game loaded and started without any problems.

I recommend playing with headphones. The atmosphere of an abandoned industrial facility works really well. The lighting and color palette create a unique mood, and it reminded me a bit of the underground areas from Silo.

The story feels mysterious, and exploring the maze-like corridors was enjoyable.

To make it even scarier, you could add some distant creepy sounds, or maybe a few NPCs—or even just their shadows—to make the place feel more alive and unsettling.

Overall, this is a really solid project. I especially liked the atmosphere and visual style. I hope it grows into a full game because it has a lot of potential.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for your feedback!
We're continuing to work on this project, fixing all critical bugs and adding some content.

We'd love to continue working on this game beyond the Game Jam, as a project with a potential future, so your feedback is very encouraging!
