I never played bayblades, and I'm really bad at this, but it's not for lack of understanding how it works, just a skill issue. Excellent tutorial - not too long, and did a great job explaining the mechanics for me. I'm also glad I can click through each of the text scenes at my own pace instead of waiting for them to complete. Really nicely done!

Developer

Hey glad you enjoyed it! Also is not your problem, I want the game to be playable by all skill levels so it's the game's fault.

I'm very interested in what you had the most trouble with so that I can work on fixing it. Was it aiming your Beyblade? Did the enemies did too much damage? Was it the mechanic where you have to spin at the beggining not clear? Even if its a short response I would love to know the thing you felt you had the most trouble with!

I couldn't get it to do much damage to the others. Maybe I wasn't holding it long enough? But I struggle with coordinating the mouse to move dynamically like that. I thought the tutorial was great, so it definitely wasn't a lack of understanding really, just a lack of my ability to accurately get it spinning enough and aimed well enough to hit and damage the enemy before they knocked me out.

Maybe I need "little sibling" mode with target assist to help me "lock on" even when I should miss so I can focus more on spinning up power XD

Girl that name for the easy mode is PERFECT for the game, works perfectly for the story! Some people seem to have trouble controlling the beyblade and making it spin fast enough at the beggining of the game, I'll definitely look into that.

Thanks for the comment, I'm writing down all the feedback I get for the post-jam update.

The art style, gameplay, audio, everything hit all that I was looking for and was also incredibly nostalgic. Even something as small as the cursor being a hand and the tutorial being that interactive was great.  Incredibly fun ending too- best game I've played in this jam by far.

Daang, this is such a well made game, good job guys!

As a fellow copyright free, Legally distinct spinner game this game was amazing, the story was hilarious and the gameplay was really engaging. Well done!!

I loved this game! I was hooked immediately by the gameplay. It's incredibly fun and well-designed. And the story was hilarious! Other things I enjoyed were the art, audio, and nostalgia. Nicely done (*^▽^*)

I love the chuunibyou mc. The art is very cute and the dialogue was a lot of fun

Super fun game, and really well made! It has good story, art, audio, gameplay, and all.

This was amazing 🔥! It’s the best Beyblade game I’ve ever played. I’d been seeing the thumbnail since the start and was expecting it to be a broken, barely working blade game, but this turned out to be on a whole different level. Absolute cinema!🙌🏻

Developer

I'll have to change the thumbnail to something more trustworthy then hahahah. Thank you for playing!

Simple and fun gameplay, can be challenging at times, tons of cool art too!

Wow reminds me of how i played bayblade with my friends i like this game

The memories of building your own custom Bayblade to fight your friends, i can't describe! Amazing game, feels so good to play! (single small note, don't use right click in web games! I accidentally managed to right click outside the game and click of refresh in a fraction of second :'D)

Developer(+1)

Sheesh! That sucks! I managed to fix it in full screen but if you play in windowed it can happen. I'll change it so it autoplays in full screen. Didn't think of that... Thanks for the feedback.

And yeah, that was the vibe we were gonig for. Glad it worked!

Don't worry, my bad also to not play in fullscreen eheheh

The story, the jokes, the SERIOUSNESS *CRUNCH*

Very amazing Submission, loved everything about it, from watching the dev snaps on discord till finally spinning and winning myself. Great Job!

Really great execution here! Love how each enemy had their own gimmicks and personality. Really polished, great art, and fun story. Amazing job!

Full marks, this game is amazing. I had to githt the second to last battle about a dozen times before I won. Having a skip for dialogue would have helped frustration there, as cliicking thorugh was not too big a deal but added to that (minor) frustration.

By the final fight, my hand was tired T.T After several attempts, I had to move on. Sadge. None the less, extremely well put together. Would love to see this put into a fully fledged game with varying stats for different spin, roto types, etc. etc.

Developer

Yeah, I didnt think of that. There should have been a third dialogue for when you fight them for a third time with one or 2 lines instead of 10. I'm also thinking on adding a dialogue decision when you start any dialogue where you can just skip everything. It coul be the MC saying something like "SHUT UP I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!" and then the combat starts.

Comments like yours help me make the game better so tThank you for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed the game!
