Fun game. It runs very well. Could use a little background music.

Fun word typing game. I liked the theme being based around Windows XP. Good job!

I think the controls for the player guy drifts a little too much for my liking, but other than that cool concept! I feel like it gets old after too many of them though. It repeated the same word a couple times. Maybe expand the vocabulary? Also, the time limit wasn't hard enough (for me) since I practice typing. Perhaps a slider asking you your WPM or adaptive difficulty would make it better?

I feel the exact same way. Midway through the game jam i changed everything and i didn't find a way to make this specific mechanic interesting no matter how long or short the timer was. The game has only 33 words picked at random, so repetition is still likely.  Thank you for your feedback. :)

I wouldn't say I'm a fully fledged touch typist like some in the comments here, but I managed to complete the game with about 35 s +- 3s to spare.  I'm not sure how that would equate to words per minute, but I don't think I'm in terrible space.

Thanks for the game, and the skill test.

Nice simple game. I'm a touch typer (40-ish w/m), so not a super challenge and managed it in the first go once I got my bearings with what to do. But it has a lot of promise of being a good practice tool, maybe with a fun storyline, or some "connect the words" kind of thing to be thinking about alongside the practicing. Though it's not a tutor tool, unless you include some kind of subgame that involves typing letter combinations at a rate (e.g f-t-f-t-f-t-f-t which is what the courses are like).

I join you on the challenge point (70wpm here). I didn't want the game to be a difficult one, i just wanted to learn how to spawn a mini-game and make one for a future project. Initially the time limit was much shorter and it was hard for certain friends of mine, the balancing was tough and since this is a prototype i decided to let most people finish it without any stress. Thank you for the feedback , appreciate it :)

Go to the pub button did not work for me.  is this a bug or it is not implemented?

This is just a way to close the game , but it does nothing in the web player. Thank you for playing !

Oh ok, I  just wanted to be sure that I finished the game

Np, maybe i should remove the button entirely. I have to admit it's confusing!

Fun game :)

This gives me flashbacks of being a tiny human learning typing for the first time. That said I love the office design.
