I didn't really understand the game until I poked around for a while but it was fun! I wish there was more story and lore and mechanics but that is nice as it is. Good job!

I really enjoying playing the game, at first I didn't understand the mechanic of putting the names on the line(horizontal) and I really like the the background. And I was thinking maybe later you can add more visual feedback and hints 😉 otherwise nice game mate

Thanks for playing, really appreciated.

I had a key to display the categories under the words so I could play test without actually playing the game. It is the F2 key and that is more than a hint I guess.

Thanks again.

Clicking on the words did not seem to do anything, so the game really needs more feedback to show when actions are working. Also, I had to close the game through Task Manager because I could not find a way to exit normally.

The music was good though

For the words you click on the word you want to move and then hold and drag it to where you want it to go. As for not being able  to close the game I used the 'ESC' key to do that from the game board screen. I should have put a button in there that said 'EXIT'

Thanks for the great feedback and for playing the game!

Apparently, I'm not as good with words as I thought. Solid work on this

I need to use google a lot while playing XD.

I usually click near the center of a card when starting a drag and try to line it up with the slot where I want to place it. So in the image below I am trying to drag the “Tiger beetle” card into the upper left grid slot. But in my case it doesn’t drop and snaps back. I think it may be better if the cursor is aligned in the center of the card instead of the upper-left corner while dragging.

Developer

Good catch. I ran the software, and if you drag outside of the game board, you are right, is snaps back. I may code up a reticle to be in the center of the drag rather than the mouse cursor being in the upper left hand corner of the game piece.

Thank you for taking the time to do a screen capture and linking it here, it is very kind of you.

Apparently, I like this game... played 10 rounds before deciding it's time to rate the next game :-) ... Thanks a lot for making it. It's a lot of fun.

Developer

Thanks so much for playing the game, I am so glad you enjoyed it. I'm off to play yours now.

I am apparently terrible with words but that's on me :) Really great take on the theme! I loved the music and the general mechanics of it. Well done!
