Thank you!!

Great idea. It will be really useful for someone trying to be a DevOps Engineer or a System Admin.

Developer

Thanks so much, glad you liked the networking idea and good luck with those paths :)

That's fun! I used to make similar diagrams in my classes at university.

Thanks for trying it out! Glad it was a trip down memory lane :D

I became a network engineer, I guess, I wish it was that simple. 😂 Was fun playing it, great work.

Developer(+1)

Close enough, you are now certified in networking I'd say XD. Thanks for giving it a go, I am glad you enjoyed it!

Great game, I really enjoyed it. The Civilization-style gameplay is super engaging and addictive. The music is fantastic too. Overall, an amazing job!!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much, I am glad you had fun with it :) That is a good way of putting it actually, didn't think of it as Civ-esque initially but I definitely see it now!

Glad you had fun! :)

Fun little game. Slight UI bug to look out for if you're playing. DO NOT build anything on the far left wall or it will get covered by work orders you'll not be able to interact with any equipment under the work orders until you clear them. SO if you place you beginning machines their... RIP

Outside of that, fun little game!

Developer

Thanks for trying the game out! Glad you enjoyed it.  Thats a good point lol, was going to make a camera pan but just couldnt get it working in time.

an "easier" solution would be to just shrink the workspace and have an area dedicated to the pop-ups/ work orders.

You could have them on the side where they currently are, top, etc. Just dedicate some space to them? Side of a monitor and they appear like sticky notes.

Developer(+1)

Thats a good idea, sort of like a simulated desktop. That would work for sure just would have to play around with the visual look! Wish there was some time to refine games during the jam but maybe I can give it a go after all the rating is over :)

Yeah. Depending on your canvas layers... It can be an absolute mess. My last jam was all custom UI design. My wall has a bloody spot at head height. Haha

Developer(+1)

XD Yeah those canvas layers sometimes are an absolute pain in Unity! Sometimes I'll just reload the project and hope all those errors and warnings go away!

I'm trying to follow the tutorial but nothing happens when I click the workstation. Am I doing something wrong or is something up with the web export?

Developer

Thanks for trying the game! Should work if you press on the workstation and then left click on the board. I realised that the tutorial is a little rushed so I must have missed this step in the explanation :(

Got it, now I understand! It was a fun challenge that got stressful in the end! I really got into the flow of the game loop, I got 64 tickets :)
Thanks for clarifying how to play! I think the reason that I didn't understand how to play initially was that nothing happened visually when I pressed the workstation. This could easily be improved if you add something that enables the user to see what is currently selected :)

Developer

Thats a good score tbh, glad you had fun with it :) Appreciate the advice, completely flew over my head during development but definitely agree some sort of highlight would have been great for this! Enjoy the jam!
