Nice game! I like the art and the hover menu text is a nice touch. It was already said but I did experience some Y-sorting issues and in the second level the guard got stuck on a plant and could not move for a while. Overall a charming game and a very nice entry!
Cool concept! I like the music. The guard does a good job keeping the player on their toes. Second level had some y-sorting issues, and waiting/praying for the people to go to the haunted machines gets quite tedious.
Very cute game! I love the descriptions on all the objects!
I never got a feel for how I was "supposed" to be playing, but the charm kept me invested. The text, the sound effects, the fact that a guard could somehow apprehend a ghost, all great. The game was still pretty confusing, though. The third level also just didn't work and sent me to a white screen.
Is really fun, so simple but that is okay. Need more polish in the gameplay but had much potential.
I like it! :)
Lovee the general consept of the game but I can't help but feel the art was lacking ito using the dithering and pattern effects to give a more detailed look. Also gameplay loop is great but the lack of music really drags. Overall I think this game has potential it was fun!
Thanks for your feedback and playing our game! it should have music, a track for the menu and one for gameplay, maybe there is a browser related issue
I like that there seems to be systems and patrons going on that is don't see or understand. :)
Great game, a tad hard to understand, a little bit, but still fun!
Very fun, but sometimes I got stuck on the arcade-machine-thingys
I like the literal theme interpretation of shock, lol. On the first level I cheesed the whole thing on accident by clipping outside of the map and the guard could not get to me.
A cool concept and clever interpretation of the theme!
My first impression was that I was going to be an entirely non-physical ghost, interacting indirectly through hauntings...
But then the guard started chasing me! There was no chance for me to hover my mouse over anything at this point or appreciate any of the detailed descriptions/writing for the arcade machines. It was cool when I was able to phase through the desk to avoid the guard temporarily... but i don't know if that was intentional. I think it'd be cool to lean more into being a non-physical ghost and phase through walls and stuff! Or what if instead of guards chasing YOU, it was a patrolling repairman who fixes haunted machines?
EDIT: I just realized you can hide in plants.... This does change a lot!! Unfortunately I did not discover that on my own at first because I was too busy running
The art was excellent and i love the ghost character, music was a great fit, and i appreciate all the attention to detail in the UI! Great work!
The manager actually will patrol around rooms when patrons see you and run to get him :) he also attempts to fix machines, but he isnt very good at it lol. Thanks so much for playing!
The ghost was cute and it was fun to scare the patrons. Nice work. Good to see another interpretation of shock.
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked it :)
Loved the approach to UI!
This was very fun, I liked the sound effects and the progression from level 1 to 2 quite a bit
I had fun with this, outmaneuvering the guard by ducking into the plants was a nice touch. At one point the guard got stuck on a corner and I was able to scare people with impunity! Nice entry!
Sometimes they take breaks ¯\(ツ)/¯ thanks for playing!
I got outside the walls and then the guard saw me through the door and his pathfinding was too powerful and he wouldn't let me back in. I made him dance and that made me laugh.
oh, uh.. the hole in the wall, created with dedicated authorial intent, is a vivid and poignant analogy for how many of the walls we buildourselves in life are purely illusory. thanks for playing our game!
Yup totally on purpose! ._.
