Finally started the game--here are some quick thoughts!
I love the background art; it’s absolutely stunning.
The story is really intriguing so far, and I’m glad I picked this from my massive backlog.
I just met Hotaru in the common route, and now I regret not voting “Yes” on your “do you hate me for not having a Hotaru route” poll on X 😂 (I definitely don’t hate you for all the hard work you’ve put into this game though 💖)
Overall, I find the game really charming, and I’m excited to finish all the routes!

Finally played this!!! So here's a silly lil mini-review I guess (no spoilers dw)
OMG It was incredible! My favorite characters were Syn, Hotaru, and Leticia, (and Tabby of course)
First of all, I adore all the sprite work, there is literally so much expression in each characters sprites and they are constantly changing and animated, it was something you don't see in most VNs.
The story was engaging the entire time, there was never a dull moment, and I was on the edge of my seat during most of it. There are a lot of interesting lore elements you may not catch right away. It's absolutely a game worth playing more than once, I'll probably come back to it before the end of the year.

I'm also not very technical so was worried I wouldn't figure it out but I surprisingly did. Works great! Ty for getting back to me about it. I'm really enjoying the game rn; been dying to play it
There is basically sex in every route. Naturally, fully explicit CGs are not shown (like you'd see in uncensored Lunar Crimson Flower, for example) but some are suggestive!
I'm excited to hear what you think 💙 especially what you think about the spice level. I think, personally, for me it rates about where Olympia Soiree was. Just about.
It is all too rare in otome. I've played some where they don't even kiss and I was dying. LOL.
An absolutely FANTASTIC game!! The world building is incredible, and the background music really sets the scene and transports you to another realm. Syn was my fav LI, but Theo's route had me in SHAMBLES 😭 Such a beautiful VN, I wish I could play it for the first time again!!
hi! i will be releasing the full version of this game in less than a month, and so the common route has changed quite significantly since I posted this around a year, so I took it down while the betas test it out to check for bugs! The new common route (demo) will be around 2-4 hours long depending on how fast you read :) I will be making a post here when the new demo is out, which will be a little bit before the official steam/itchio release of the full games :)
sorry for the confusion, but i promise i will post the second it is up!
Enjoyed the game and am very interested to see where it goes from here. I think i may have already put some pieces together but we will have to wait and see if i am right or wrong.

Awesome art! The backgrounds truly reel you in as they are absolutely breathtaking! The main character is very interesting and her background is something I hope to learn more about.

If it's PC, just download and extract the file, and click on the version of Twisted Tides that is not 32-bit!
