I got it! I like this kind of “Paint” style drawing :D Nice little platformer. The sound is pretty good too, even if it's a tad loud when you pick up items.

Interesting platformer.

I really appreciate the parallax effect on the background, there's even an ending cinematic. Like others said, maybe adding coyote time and jump buffer could be an improvement, but the more primal gameplay with no hand-holding goes best with the art style choice. Does that make any sense? The game playing the way it does feels better because of the art.

The level design was fun to go through. Aside from some user response improvements like coyote time and such, the core platforming feels good. The jump SFX gives it a nice little bit of feedback that makes it more satisfying.

I really like that orange cage-like stage. Visually it stood out and the player sprite pops really nicely against it. The title screen has charm too.

I did notice some odd scaling/stretching on certain visuals, which I know you mentioned on the game page. I'm not super familiar with Godot either, but it feels like maybe some resolution or scaling settings might be causing that weirdness.

For a first game/jam, this is awesome though. It's a cool entry with a good foundation.

Cool game for a first game made as a team. Liked the idea of multiple different worlds as it fits quite well the theme. I wish there was some coyote time for the plaforming, and some sound effects are too loud. Liked the art though! Good job
