Great atmosphere... That was scary!  Good level design and the limited inventory space give it that Resident Evil 1 feeling.

For my game, I had a really similar idea with a flashlight that interacts strangely with stuff.  Comparing the two is a fun lesson in game design for me (I think yours is more fun :) ), so I thank you for that!

Great game, well done!

The disappearing boxes were spooky! Only being able to hold one item at a time was a good idea to add to the challenge. There was one bug where i kept getting stuck on boxes

The atmosphere and sfx were amazing!

That was a really great concept! The game got really spooky when that black blob thing emerged from the dark! Nice job!

I loved the idea and atmosphere of this game, fear immediately went down my spine when I saw the phase "look at what you don't want to move" from way too much Doctor Who. Well done!

I like this idea, you got the hang of the puzzles but they were not easy to do! Simple but not easy.

I loved the atmosphere. There are probably some terrible monsters coming later in the game :D

Very nice game! The visuals of the game is so good and I love the entire environment art style. Great Work

LOVE IT!!!

Really impressive game! The atmosphere immediately pulls you in, the lighting, ambient audio, and the subtle sound cues all work together to make exploring tense and immersive. I especially liked the core mechanic!!! where the presence of one object affects another; it makes you think about space in a very different way!!!

Some minor issues popped up, like occasionally getting soft-locked or stuck in walls, but these didn’t take away from the overall experience. The way the flashlight interacts with the environment and the enemies adds a lot of depth, and the subtle audio cues when objects move or are illuminated are a nice touch.

Overall, this is a polished, creative, and memorable jam entry. I’d love to see this explored further in future updates!

Great work!!!!

ALSO, if you like brain-teasing puzzle platformers check out my game!

Thanks you, I'm checking yours out right now!

Great atmosphere, it draws you in right away. I really liked how the core mechanic changes how you think about space. Had a small issue once, but overall a very immersive experience!

Developer

Thank you!

Classic theme but also pretty innovative from a gameplay perspective! I too got stuck once but it wasn't a big deal since it was at the beginning. What i really liked was the mechanic of the light stopping or allowing to exist only one of the present objects. I feel like this kind of stuff is needed to make a puzzle/exploration game more engaging than simply walking corridors, checking mazes and clicking a few objects in order.

Developer

Glad you were able to find it enjoyable!

Nice and dense atmosphere!

Developer

Thanks!

I soft locked a couple of times tyring to squeeze myself between obstacles but a quick restart and all good in the end! Cool experience and clean implementation

Sorry about that, we really should've added an unstuck option. Glad you enjoyed

Sorry, cannot play it through, it just scared me a lot...

Developer

No worries, thanks for checking us out!

It's a pretty creepy and atmospheric game! Sorry to get stuck in the drawer(

Developer

Oh sorry for that, we didn't do much playtesting due to time constraints.

The atmosphere was really good. It's actually really fun. Great work!

Developer

Thanks!

Very spooky! I liked the use of "fear of the unknown" where the game forces you to walk backwards to specifically avoid looking at certain things or keep your eye on others. The slow walking speed and sound effects also add to the atmosphere. Appreciated the "thriller" rather than "horror".

Very nice use of the maze changing as you enter and leave. This is super underrated imo. Nice work on this entry.

Developer

Wow, thanks for you feedback. We didn't think about how it automatically forces the player to walk backwards.

Glad you enjoyed!

The atmosphere was very effective in conveying the horror and the sound effects were great as well! I also really liked the 2.5D assets. Overall, this was a great game!

Thank you for your feedback. Actually, we used a parallax effect rather than 2.5

Glad it brought you some creep!

Still really cool!

The whole concept works really well in practice. Realizing you can lock on an object in place with the flashlight while sneaking in to the dark space where the other would've been is such a cool puzzle moment. The atmosphere sells it too. The audio is well adjusted, the ambient tension, the enemy cues, even the little sound when the flashlight hits one of those shaky objects is nice.

It's one of those mechs where you immediately see the potential. Really good idea, and it fits the strange vibe perfectly.

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot, glad you noticed the sound designs. Your game was also great!

Really interesting mechanic with how the object repositioning works. The atmosphere is well done too, exploring dark rooms with only a flashlight feels genuinely creepy and unsettling. Solid work.

Developer

Glad it spooked you a little!
