Feedback:

  • Add ability to put items down without needed to swap with a different item
  • the mailbox letter completely vanishes if you have it in your hand when the day resets

Overall: Very creative. Great jam team!

This is a really good game, you got the feeling of disorientation every time it fades perfectly. The hidden bits of story are really fun and heart warming. My only suggestion would be to add some sounds and maybe tone down the fade sounds just a little bit. Great work!

Great concept and nice execution. I did encounter a bug where I had collected the mail from outside was about to step back in the house when the day ended. The next day my hands were empty and the mailbox didn’t have the mail. It was nowhere in the house as well. I basically could not proceed 😅

But apart from that, it was a very heartfelt gameplay, an interesting take on the theme! Good work.

Lovely game!!! I love your interpretation of the theme! The sound design is great, I think the game could benefit from a soundtrack tho! I love the concept tho! Really original

ALSO, if you like brain-teasing puzzle platformers make sure to check out our game!

The one stuck with me. At first, it just feels like a normal morning routine game. Grab the mail, make coffee, and water the plants. Calm. Then the fade hits and suddently everything's different and you're not holding what you thought you were. That shift felt, uncomfortable in a very intent. The sticky notes from the family on the walls got me a bit too. It's a small thing, but says a lot without spelling it out. Really interesting concept, handled in a thoughtful way. Definitely stands out.

Nice one for a first jam ! There is a lot of juice. The idea goes well with the theme. Sound are well used too. Just lack of a small music. Great job overall !

Developer

Yeah, unfortunately, we didn't manage to find the right music without throwing the mood completely off.

Thanks for the great review!

Very nice idea executed well. Well done for first jam

Main take away is camera movement is inconsistent, gets very zoomy at points and is off putting

Developer (1 edit)

I don't think I really understand this comment on the camera, we'd love to understand if you could elaborate a bit more

No problem, when I was turning in the game, the camera would randomly jump and I would end up having done a 180 turn when I just wanted to face the item I wanted to interact with

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I think it might be a bug related to WebGL builds. I’ve tested a few other 3D games that had similar camera jump issues. There’s probably a way to fix it in the code, but the problem normally isn’t present in the PC build.

i had a guy saying the same thing for my game. i think it's dependant on the browser used. im using firefox and had no issues
