Really cute visuals and interesting game concept! I had fun looking for all different endings :)

Fun game, would've been cool to have visuals for all the endings as well but I bet thats a lot of work. Was really fun to find the endings though!

I went in totally blind, and after the first chest ending, I was like, "Wait, that's it?" I jumped back in disbelief and landed upon a dating sim? That caught me off guard in the best way. Absolutely picked Piko first, no regrets.

Once I realized there were 12 endings. I had to go back in and start poking around even more. It was really fun trying to uncover them all. Each one feels different enough, and they're entertaining to read through. The illustrations are nice, and the music shifts to match the vibe of each section, which helps a lot. Definitely fits the theme too.

This was a fun surprise.

I think you hit the exact experience I was hoping for, so that’s really awesome to hear. Wouldn’t have expected less from a cultured Piko lover 🐥 glad you had fun with it!

It was cool to discover the various doors to the other places. I only managed to get 10 endings, but they were very distinct and interesting.

Thanks for exploring around! You must have dug pretty deep to find 10 endings thus far.

Here's a hint if you'd like to look around more: As you walk around, you may find some items that are collectable. The remaining endings are behind an unconventional exit, which you likely have found. You'll need the items for the remaining endings in there.

Maybe I don't need this chest after all.

I'm intrigued : is collecting items useful ?

Developer

I’m glad you asked! The collected items become useful for a certain ending that I believe no one has found yet. Perhaps I kept it too hidden.

Hint, hopefully it doesn't give too much away This game has you looking for exits. The items can be used during an unconventional exit that you can leave from after looking at it a few times. In the initial clicks it will not give you the option to leave.

Finally got it ! your hint didn't help, I had already found that exit, I just... didn't know how/when to use my items.

I still only have 11 of the 13 announced endings, although I suspect doing what I did with missing items might get me a 12th one.

Ah, great! I’m happy you already found that exit, nice job!

Out of the 12 endings, 3 are hidden within that exit All ends have a name. If you don't see one and still see your bag.... perhaps it's not the end yet. You'll need to see all changed items to enter the path for the remaining 2 endings.

It was really fun to play with all those funny lines. At some point I started to try clicking everything to find all of the ending which is not the most interersting thing to do but my curiosity keeps me encouraged to do so , maybe it was a design choice but a hint button would be nice I think

Developer

Thanks for playing! I wanted to keep things hidden but I realized it would have really helped to change to a different cursor where things are clickable. I’ll make some improvements after the jam to help with that. Hope you still had fun!

this made me smile! couldn't figure out how to get to the pikmin room tho

Here's a hint: you need to click on another door!

Developer (1 edit)

Extra hint: Clicking on exits does things! Anything that looks like an exit, try clicking it. (and perhaps not just exits...)

I need to improve the cursor to make things more obvious, but I'm glad you're having fun with it!

Very fun trying to find the different endings! Just a note on your game page, the trigger warnings doesn't show anything when clicked on. Nice game : )

Developer

Thanks for playing! And thanks for telling me, I must not have saved it :O
