How does the game fit the theme?
A weird place with weird dudes. You devour and send them to perhaps an even weirder place ?
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Everything except for the music was made from scratch. We had a few Unity package for like wingman and odin inspector though.

A simple game mechanic done well. Fun game with easy to understand mechanics. I like the clean and colorful presentation of your game! Maybe add a small “stamina” circle below the weird dude, similar to the timer around the hole. I would have liked to see my total score on the screen during the game. There was also a moment in level 3 where green characters kept spawning above the orange hole, which kept causing me to lose points without any way for me to stop it. That felt kind of frustrating. Still, overall a fun game!
A stamina bar on the weird dude is such a great idea! I keep seeing people chase him for a bit then give up because they don't know you can tire him out. Definitly something I'll work on. The green characters spawning in the orange hole has been fixed on the current build that I can't post until the jam ends. Was definitly annoying. The Score during the game is something I'm still not sure about. I feel like it keeps the suspens going and you still have an idea of your performance since you can see how much you score everytime a dude enters a hole. I also really want to avoid overlay UI for the aesthetic of the game and we didn't come up with a good way to show the score other than that.
I'm glad you liked the game. Thank you for playing!!
Glad I could help! It is completely valid to keep the UI to a minimum. I think it keeps your game clean and visually appealing. I also get your point about not showing the score on screen and keeping your player in suspense. Maybe experiment with a different visual indicator (in or around your hole) that changes color or something as you collect more points. That way, the player still has some indication of how they are doing without having an exact score. I am just spitballing, feel free to ignore the last part, haha. Again, great job on your game!
yes
Yes indeed!
Dude! what a blast! most mechanically fun game of the jam, clean visuals, good colors, fun animations. It's grand.
Thanks you so much. I'm glad you liked it! I'm humbled to hear it from one of the devs of the best game I've tried in this jam by far. Your game is seriously insane!

Visuals
1 ... You are able to bug into the holes (you are inside holes)
2 ... otherwise very liked it
Sound:
1 ... There are times when sound doesn't play (main menu, game over)
2 ... nice sound effects -> they fits together well
Yeah the bugs overlapping is something we couldn't figure out in the week. Something I'll definitly to work on. You're also right about the audio in menus something we need to expand on a little. I'm glad you liked our game and thank you for the feedbacks!
It's simple but very fun to play. I also like the visual and audio. Everything is cute. Great work :)
Thank you!
really beautiful, l love the artstyle, the animations, the sounds and the core mechanic is very innovative and clever, congrats people!
Dude so happy to hear that from you. Your game has been my favorite from the jam hands down. I've been sending the link to friends so they could try it. It's insane what you managed to produce in a week.
pretty fun and silly game, I love it!
Thanks your game was a banger too! Still can't wrap my head around how you had the time to implement so many good quality puzzles!
I love the visuals, they’re super cute, and the game feels really juicy. The audio is fun, and I really like the online ranking system.
I would have appreciated some small in-game explanations of how everything works, and I think a combo system could add even more depth to the gameplay.
Great job
The lack of in game tutorial is definitly a fuck up on our part. Would have taken a few minutes and would have helped so many people understand the mechanics more clearly.
The combo system is such a clever way to encourage player to go for the most satisfying strategy in our game (devouring a lot of dudes). Another thing I've been thinking about is letting 15 - 20 seconds without holes at the end where the player needs to eat as many creatures to score bonus points.
Thanks you for the feedbacks!
Simple, fun, polished and just a little confusing at the beggining. I wouldnt change a thing other than adding a little text saying what the goal of the game is
9/10
You're definitly right on the lack of onboarding. Your game was so much fun too! I didn't expect the second part. Thank you for the feedbacks!
Simple yet gorgeous visuals, funny SFX that were perfect. And I love the mechanic, reminds me of the donut raccoon swallowing game (perfect description without googling)! I wish I could see the progress and goal of a level, when playing level 1 I was basically going around waiting for things to spawn which got tedious. The score didn't mean much to me as I couldn't see my total or anything like that. Polish up the loop and a sense of purpose with more levels and such, and you got a neat game ready for market (in my humble opinion).
You've inspired me to figure out how it's done and do something with it myself some day.. <3
IT'S SO FUCKING CUTE
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Really dig the push-and-pull of the gameplay. It's not just "grab everything", it's grabbing the right ones while actively avoiding the ones that'll mess you up. That constant decision-making kept it engaging the whole time. Movement felt good too; huge for this sort of game. The SFX when you catch and score really sell it; it adds an extra layer of satisfaction that makes you want to keep going.
And yeah, catching the weird dude and actually landing him in a hole? Super satisfying. Big risk, big reward energy.
This was honestly really charming and way more addictive than I expected. Great gameplay loop and nice execution overall.
Fun game! The monsters are comical and cute.
Very fun game! Also the leaderboard really makes me want to try again for a better score, great job!
Arts cute, ideas noice, and the gameplays pretty good :3 I will say though. having like a visible arc to see where you'll throw the goobers, would be absolutely epic sauce :3 Cool game!
Fun game and I liked the leaderboard implementation!
Such a fun game! I could honestly play it for hours. The leaderboard idea makes it even more competitive and engaging. Great job!
It’s a really fun game. I struggled with aiming at first, but I quickly understood how it works. The sound design is nice, and I really like the idea of having a leaderboard you can get onto.
Just beat the best score to your game. Pretty fun!
You re insane! My games are pissed you took the highscore haha
