How does the game fit the theme?
The game's inspired by the timber circles, which I find strange. The story is focused on the location.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I didn't create the pig sound myself. The rocks are modified assets from polyhaven. Most of the textures are PBR materials that have been applied to original models then baked and scaled down. All other assets are original.

Pixelart is solid (especially liked the bucket with water and grain having baked in reflections/shadows.
The pig model and textures for some reason remind me of dungeon siege like it's low fidelity, but you wouldn't notice from top-down faraway perspective maybe?
Lastly for visuals - i also like your dithering postprocess. It's enough to provide some roughness without too much noise
I also like that you can chop the tree isntead of following it's orders.
If it's really your first gamejam project then congrats, it's not bad at all. I've made more crappy games ;_;
For a one dev game a very good call of creepiness and the visuals look very nice! Good job!
Loved the colours and art style. "The grain is silent" sounds very metal.
Invisible walls are kind of a pain, I wanted to go and explore your forest and find more circles. Very creepy idea and well executed so bravo on that part. Poor piggy :(
Really nice visuals and atmosphere, and I liked the setting. My only problem was that at first I didn't realise there were clickable dialog options and got a bit confused
Cool little game! Keep it up :)
congrats on the game! pretty neat little horror game.
Enjoyment: there were multiple paths to chose from, even if they just went full circle it tempted me to explore.
Gameplay: I sadly got lost and couldnt finish it. I watered the tree once and then I had no idea what to do. When talking to the tree I could not really make the dialogbox go away, only ESC and M helped which felt weird.
Innovation: I assume there are multiple items to solve puzzles which makes it a nice approach to the genre.
Theme: Excellent setting, the forest felt surreal and strange. An alarming feeling kept my company while playing
Audio: Strongest category for your game. Really well done, atmospheric and thrilling, kinda happy there were no jump scares in what I have found, would have really gotten me. Really good job!
