How does the game fit the theme?
The game fits the theme by placing the player in a psychologically tense environment where the house is alive and constantly changing. The core idea of following shifting rules, surviving the house’s anger, and trying to escape creates a sense of pressure, fear, and adaptation, which reflects the theme of survival under unpredictable conditions.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I used the asset pack from Penzilla Design. All game code and main mechanics were created from scratch during the jam.

Fun idea! Took me a while to figure out what was going on, but once I did, I liked the gameplay.
The notebook with handwritten scribbles was a nice touch actually.
Nice visuals as well!
The house got very angry at me! Very cool game, art was well done too! Nice game
Thank you for the feedback.
This is a very good take on the theme! The loop was fun and I really liked how the house changed to look more creepy and make it harder for you to get around! The only thing that would make it better would be to add creepy music in the background
Thank you for the feedback.
This one got under my skin. The glow lighting with the pixel art looks great, but it's the rule system that really makes it tense. Standing in random spots because a clipboard (house) tells you to, and then realizing you're basically standing on a pantagram, yeah that was messed up in the best way lol. The transitions from normal to craziness were tense. Really creepy mood, especially for something that only lasted a few minutes. Good job on creating tension.
Thanks :)
I’m scared an confused
Thank you for the feedback.
Spooky game!
Thank you for the feedback.
The way the house changes over time looks very cool. I had fun with the gameplay mechanics. My only issue was that it was a tiny bit too dark for me on my laptop. I like the font a lot. It looks unique and fits well.
I’ll work on the gamma settings in the next game. I also use a laptop, and in daylight I can’t see well in games like this either. I probably forgot about that since I was working at night in complete darkness.
Thank you for your feedback!
Oh man I got so scared on the first Wake Up. Really nice atmosphere and sound. Animations and visuals were spot on, really nice job!
Thank you for the review
This was delightfully horrifying! I was immediately locked in and the terror started to amp up as the rules began to change. I really enjoyed how the house changed and evolved to be scary and sometimes topsy-turvy!
I'm glad that you gained such experience
Loved the concept and playing the game! I would totally add some ambient music to make it more scare!
I think I'll add it after the jam
It’s a great mechanic concept! I kinda prefer putting the instructions up top or on the right side — feels more intuitive to me (just my take, not a rule). Still, very cool and interesting, and I really loved the art and visuals! :)
I really love the concept and tension of this gamei very cool concept and mechanic! I really like it
I'm glad you liked it
I love how dynamic the environment is; it really adds to the atmosphere - both the camera shaking when failing and the perspective changes are really great ideas to create urgency. I definitely had to die a few times to learn the layout of the map, but once I did, it was a cool experience. Great game!
I'm glad you liked it
Very well done! Super scary and I love how you play with perspective and inverted controls. I think it would help a lot to have a phase before the game starts during which you can explore the house to get familiarised with the rooms. Otherwise you end up wandering around quite a bit.
Generally a lovely little game, congrats on making it in time!
Thank you for the feedback, I will keep this in mind in the future
I like the mechanic, I wish there was a timer or countdown but overall, its a cool concept and i like how the environment change over time. Vary spooky stuff. Great game.
Thank you for the feedback. I think a two-minute timer would break the game’s atmosphere — at least in my opinion.
Welcome to haunted house ! Well done its very well fitting the theme
Thanks for the review
love the idea, and gameplay was fantastic... somehow the game reminded me of Monster House(2006) movie.... :p
I’m glad you liked it!
The first wake up text scared me lol, pretty interesting game, really good art the part where blood started showing up got me to panic abit! Nice game!
Thank you for the feedback!
pretty neat game c:
I liked how the game messes around with the perspective at a certain point, it genuinely threw me off a lot and it did scare me a bit, not only that, but the game also looks really good and is honestly a blast to play, especially with friends on vc where they try to guide you thru the house
really solid experience I'd give it a 8/10
Thanks a lot! I’m really glad you enjoyed the game and appreciated the perspective mechanics. Your feedback means a lot!
Cool idea! I really liked the execution of the different stages of the house's anger. I think the eeriness could have been really enhanced the audio though. Great job though and I love the direction you took the prompt.
Yes, I wanted to add music, but I didn’t have enough time. I spent a lot of effort writing code for the dynamic rules and the house anger stages, so it would feel like the house is alive, and also worked on the game balance.
