There are lots of strange scenery and strange enemies. You are an axolotl which is also strange.

I used a sound and an animation system I made in a previous jam. The footstep sounds are from an asset pack.

Nice game! I had a bit of trouble getting over the first obstacle since I didn't realize I had to throw the arm to knock them down. I found the enemies a bit difficult to get past, and they were really fast. I like the floating mechanic and the animated cover art!
Great thumbnail and interesting concepts.
Nice music and cool universe.
Enemy speed might be a bit high and could affect immersion.

Fun game! The art was really really good. I was having a lot of trouble with the rats though, since they damage you while running towards food it got very repetitive. With a little bit of polish and expansion I think this could be absolutely amazing.
The games art style is great and that cover art is amazing. I didn't read the controls when I first started the game so the "Left mouse button to throw arm" instruction was such a funny surprise. Nicely done!
The cover art for the game is so gorgeous I could get it framed! The art is great and the opening fills me with dread for some reason. The gameplay is a bit clunky. Some improvements could be an indication or a timer to tell the enemies are distracted. Good job!

New post submission build pushed:
- Pause menu added. (esc to access)
- Put a wall in the starting tutorial area so you can't go left and soft lock anymore.
- "Cutscene" at the end of the starting dialog can't be skipped by clicking through it anymore.
- Put some wing flap sfx for the birds.
Beautiful main menu art! I love Axy’s character, it’s distinct and cute. I appreciate the contrast between his personality and what’s happening outside. Great assets and backgrounds. That throwing arm mechanic is definitely strange haha
A bug I found is that in the beginning you can run off the screen on the left and cannot jump back on the platform or restart. I had to reload the game.

I like the art in this game! but I got soft locked by walking off the screen to the left at the start, with a bit more polish, this would be really great! Keep it up!

Really love the artwork, It takes some practice to get used to the arm mechanic. But its a fun concept throwing your arm :)
