How does your game fit the theme?
my games uses time loop mechanic, which allows you to go to the past, find your old past self and merge with, doing this allows you to fix your mistakes and sometimes solve puzzles

literally best dark and white game i played, nice man
thx for your comment I truly appreciated it !!!
I like the simple black and white aesthetic for the levels and the character, especially how it contrasts the present mode vs past ghost mode. I accidentally solved the first level by just fooling around. It's hard for me to distinguish what is in the environment and therefore hard for me to solve the puzzle. I wasn't able to get through the second level either, and I found the pit with water at the beginning to be a bit annoying because there were no indicators that it was there + it didn't help me utilize the time rewind.
Overall I think the rewind time mechanic is pretty creative and executed well visually, but the levels could use some tweaking to make at least the first few puzzles simple to solve. I wish I could explore more of this game but I got skill issued.
Thank you so much! I totally get what you mean , the game definitely needs a rework in terms of visibility, and I’ll definitely take notes on what you said. But anyway, thanks again for the amazing feedback, and I’m really happy you enjoyed it :)
The artwork, polish and feels are really good!
You clearly see where this could go and the mechanic is super interesting ! Well done !
I have some feedbacks, I'm not a pro dev so take it with a grain of salt of course, but just in case it can helps:
- I got stuck for a while on the first level : first because I had trouble reading the font and figuring out the controls, the font adds a lot to the ambiance but I think there is an inbetween for a more readable one, then because I didn't really understood the door mechanism, could be just me though. But each time, I had to go through the tuto again which felt a bit like a punishment ahah.
- Speaking of the tuto/ui, it felt Iike I should be able to go full keyboard, since the game doesnt require mouse inputs.
- Maybe i'd also consider changing the controls for the x/e mechanics for only one buttonsince both actions can't happen at once anywa. And maybe for something more accessible to the right hand (space, k), or maybe the other way around arrow and space.
Again, very nice take on the theme, good job averall, I really loved the mood of your game ! Good job overall !
Thank you so much for the amazing comment, I really appreciate the feedback you gave me. It’s incredibly helpful and insightful. I’ll definitely reconsider the font and controls based on your suggestions. Regardless, I’m glad you enjoyed it ( ╹▽╹ )
Great game idea! I like the graphics and music too!
Thx for the feedback!
You're welcome :)
The environment and the art was really good on this game! Must say I've never been a fan of horror games so the sounds had be freaked out but the mechanic was pretty cool I liked how it was used in the laser level. I think there just needs to be more levels to expand on the use of the mechanic more.
Thx for your great feedback, and I am glad you liked it, I might add more levels as well, but overall I really appreciate it.
I like the ambience and environment design, the background motion looks very good and the sound was very moody. I also like the ethereal quality to the main character. I found the main mechanic a bit difficult to grasp though, and I think the font is a little tricky for me to read. There was definitely a lot of good work put into this project though, well done!
Thx for the feedback, I’ll take notes on what you said!
Good puzzle platformer. Although there were only a few level, I can see the potential in more interesting rooms. I liked the unsettling style. The font was hard to read. I actually misread what button to use when merging with my past self. It was also intuitive but the first footplate was a bit hidden. But the dark theme made it easy to see the important parts.
Thx so much, For this wholesome comment . I will actually take notes on what you said :D
