Element mixing is always a fun concept, and it could be even more cool if players could combine elements dynamically during a run, similar to Invoker in Dota.
I wanted to do something similer but the deadline didnt give me a change, maybe in the future, thanks for the support😊

Really cool and innovative take on the "Built Different' theme! I loved the ability to smash together different elements to make completely new characters. Awesome stuff. The fighting did get a little bit repetitive after the first several levels, but that's nothing that some sweet character powers and a bit of narrative couldn't fix. Overall this game rocks! Very impressive what you were able to put together in only two weeks!
thanks im happy you liked it😊 The problem is most of the time was spent on the characters and their abilities, not enough time was spent on the enemeis so the combat feels repetitive after a while, also I added to much levels,a few good level is much better than a lot of repeated levels.
This is true! A few really solid levels would've been the sweet spot. This is why I love game jams - you learn so much with every game that the next game gets better and better
The mechanic reminded me of Xayah, the League of Legends character who collects her feathers. Or at least, the one I played had a certain level of difficulty, but it was very good!
im happy you liked it😁 I wasn't a Xayah player tbh but maybe i was inspired by it for the attract ability without realising.
The raven was a mix of fling and attract (the blue and purple fragments)
You can try different characters by choosing different abilities/fragments
fling and attract (blue and purple) raven
There is also
fling and burst (blue and orange)
burst and attract (orange and purple)
you dont have to play the whole game, just try the characters through the tutorial room, and im sure you're gonna enjoy them 😊
The home screen is gorgeous and I think it's cool that there are different characters depending on your build. The fighting got a bit repititive but I think if you expanded on it it could be super fun! Great polish and effects :)

I tried to make each character as fun and unique as possible, so most of the time was spent on the characters and their abilities and tutorial. The problem is that the enemies aren't that interesting, which made the combat feel repetitive. I should have added fewer levels, more levels don't always mean more fun, especially if the enemies are the same. I hope I can expand on it by making more fun and interesting enemies 😁
Totally get that, we also ran out of time and did the opposite of you, so we use one super polished level only 😂
I finished the game with the samurai crow, werewolf, and Ahri. I really, really enjoyed the game. It lacked character skills or something like that, but I really liked the game's aesthetics and the character selection system. I hope they continue developing it; I would love to play more of this game and make Scarecrow even prouder of me.

thanks im very happy you liked it😁 the main core theme was the different characters built through different fragments/abilities, so I tried to make each character as different and unique as possible. What the game lacked was interesting enemies, other than the 4 zombie which were just the same enemy with different sprites and things like damage, speed, health, etc. There were 2 skeletons, which were kinda interesting compared to the zombies, but in general, having boring enemies made the combat not that interesting overall. I hope I can expand on it by making the enemies more interesting and fun.😊
The characters are great, and the gameplay feels smooth and pleasant. Combat is satisfying at first, but after a while, I got bored with fighting the same enemies over and over. Maybe there’s more depth later in the game, but I didn’t reach that point. Even so, I enjoyed my time with it, and the overall experience was solid.

holy man the idea is actually so good i played the game and had a lot of fun. fav character was the crow samurai one. and everyone having unique abilities and everything. there was a good amount of levels too loved it

I didn't realize there were multiple characters until I tried to replay with a different combo. Really cool! The fling/burst combo lady though seems to have some interesting animation for what looks like breathing? Lmao. Had a little trouble getting through the tutorial but overall cool game and great art.
