Yeah! Your saves should be fine. Just delete the old .rpa and place the new .rpa, that's it!

There's 2 locations for saves/progress on PC for AHITR.
Where your game folder is located, you'll have a "game" folder where the .exe is. Inside the "game" folder you'll have "saves".
Example: C:\AHouseInTheRift-GameVersionHere\game\saves
There's a backup folder in your "appdata" folder that your saves get synced to. You can find it in the example below:
C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\AHouseintheRift
Alternatively you can hit Win + R and type "appdata" from there open "Roaming", then "Renpy" and then "AHouseintheRift"
Make sure to delete both of these locations (including any "sync" folder or "persistent" file).
Deleting these will completely delete all your saved data. (I'd make a backup of your saves just in case).
On Android your saves will be in "ahitr_storage" and the "sync" folder.
Deleting everything will hopefully work right so i dont get stuck on the same mission again ps it aint deleting anything but ima still start a new game in hopes of it fixing it self

The elf one i thing it was chapter 17 the one where u have to agree to go with her to her house i think and it would not count for me would loop

No update yet. Its unfortunately a tricky situation to navigate and mostly out of our hands due to the current structure of Itch ToS (in regards to paid adult games).
We are still keeping an eye on things and hopefully something down the road, but for now it remains the same.

You can use the default windows unzip feature to extract the game (or any unzipping program). But all you need to do is unzip and play!
If you have any anti-virus software, I'd recommend having a look to see if its blocking the game (as sometimes the download can be flagged as a false threat, causing the game to either be deleted or missing files).

I lost all my saves from day 13. I updated from an old version and just updated the launcher, which may have caused that. However, I downloaded the high-res version from Patreon and am going to use that. Hopefully, it saves next time I replace the game folder.

When updating on Android, all you have to do is place the new .rpa and delete the old .rpa, you don't have to redownload the launcher at all (which is what may have caused the loss of saves).
And where is the old file?
Old file, like .rpa? It will be in the same folder where you initially dropped the .rpa ("game").
Question as im interested? will the game have animated climax scenes or it will be still images as it looks way to good to have that?

No one knows the outcome of said choices yet, so I'd recommend making a save there for now :)
It appears that all of the six will get a pivotal choice scene like this.
From the wordings of the choices, I expect that one leads to a romantic ending, one to a friendly (FWB?) ending, and one that lets her go. That's just my speculation, though.
And whether or what choices lead to a harem ending, who knows?

I follow your step and even did it many times but it's not working, sometimes it showing me same as we open launcher first time and sometimes it's just back from app. I really never had that much problem with any game I downloaded or played.

If you've followed the steps in our Android installation guide, but you're still experiencing issues, I'd recommend deleting and redownloading the launcher and .rpa, and trying again.

You may need to do quests with either Cait or Lyriel (or both) to get this event to trigger!
I'd recommend possibly truing Eager Student, Caits Story, Useful Elf and Lyriels story and retrying Manga Research.
I've downloaded the recent version on android but can't seem to get it to run. I assume I have to extract the files but I don't have that option, as downloading the updated version of the launcher didn't help. Do you have any clue what I might be able to do?

My native language is not English, and I have noticed that many people are unable to enjoy the game due to language issues. I recommend a software called LunaTranslator, which you can find on GitHub. It can translate game text in real-time through methods such as Google Translate.

Accurate translation of the game's text is no easy feat. In fact, machine translation cannot capture the charm of the game. My review is for other non-native English or Russian speakers who plan to play this game. They are free to choose this software to enhance their gaming experience. How to open the game for android. I downloaded both files 4 gigs. And 40 mig bytes. 1 after downloading asks to open through some program. And 2 opened and I downloaded the game on 3 GB. Is this the game or not?
