I absolutely loved this one! The visual style, music, and mechanics were all top-notch. My only complaint is the camera - it's too close to the cat, too low, and moves too much in tandem with it. A wider, higher angle, with more smoothing would complete this for sure.
i love this game's style so much its incredible. i love cats So Much. and the interface makes me laugh
ive never played monkey ball, but i think it would've been helpful to be able to change the camera's vertical orientation with your mouse? it was a bit hard to see the tracks at times. the ball physics themselves feel great, and the game has quite a bit of content for a game jam game, its a very fun game :)
the music is incredible too, maybe one of the best songs to come out of this jam. all of you did a really great job on this game ^^
Enjoyed the game a lot! Music was a bop and was pretty challenging to me. Sometimes the camera tilt forward was a bit too much, was difficult to see the track when I started to move forward. But overall, a great submission!

Another cool take on the Super Monkey Ball, I really enjoyed how the game flows and the level design in this one! I also love cats and I enjoyed the cat puns! I think the life system is superfluous, while the game is pretty generous with continues, I still think an option to play without these restrictions would be amazing for noobs like me!

It’s Super Monkey Ball. And as much as original ideas slap, it’s still cool to see already executed ideas in a different form. I think my only big complaint is that the camera is too close to the floor which really makes it obnoxious at times to see where you’re going but otherwise it’s a solid entry! I like that there are a good amount of stages too that’s always appreciated (as well as an online leaderboard that was a neat surprise! I’m number 9 as of writing :3)

THE MUSIC DIDN'T NEEDED TO GO SO HARD
this was my first time working with PMYA and i must sing his praises, i was also not expecting his work to go this hard, especially with the subtle meows in the track!
While download version is recommended, the game does play fine if you give it time to cache the shaders.
Camera could use a limited elevation adjustability tweak so you can angle it towards the ground. It's just slightly straining on the eyes, not really a big deal.
I put ゼテラキシス in your leaderboard. Obviously, the font wasn't ready to handle that, and for a jam game, I wouldn't expect it either. I just thought it was funny to do at the time.

That was super cute. I loved the cat puns and other bits of humor thrown in (like the frowny face next to leaving the game!). I'm not great at these marble type games, so I can't get past level 4. But I managed to snag 15th place on the leaderboard for now! Also, I love that you kept your rat from the popsicle game in your logo!

Really fun and I liked the spin of using cats but the levels were so difficult I had to little stutterstep

The movement is insanely fun ! The music is amazing and the cats are adorable <3
I feel like the camera could be slightly higher up above the ball, was struggling to see what was in front of me at some point, aside from that small nitpick, i really enjoyed it !
Loved the aspect of having optionnal fishies to collect while rolling around, though i'd say you should definitely have lowered the score they give relative to the speed bonuses, right now zooming around super fast is really desensitized compared to slowly going back collecting as many fishies as possible since the time bonuses are so small !
Wonderful job, i actually might come back trying to beat it as fast as possible instead of aiming for score the first time ^^

Yeah, we didn’t have a lot of time to tune things. I placed a lot of the fish (but not all) and my focus was to make sure they were all obtainable. I also tried to place a few at the beginnings of ramps to help compensate for camera angle. Had there been more time, I wanted to try to figure out the best lines to take, and maybe have alternate versions where the fish are in the worst spots. But you clearly demonstrated that I’m not actually that great at the game :)
Love the amount of work put into this on presentation. It's funny, entertaining and a really fun game. Only thing I didn't like was the camera had a few issues. Other than that great job guys!
