The game keeps freezing a few seconds after the character customization screen appears in the prologue for me. Every single I try to hover over the options the game just becomes unresponsive and I have to close the game. Am I just not able to customize my character or is there a fix?

Did you try the quick-start ... skipping the intro ?
Then there is to look into your hardware and OS ... if your rig can barely handle the OS (forced upgrade Win7 ==> Win10/Win11) ... you will get into trouble with running any demanding software ...
There is a reason, I did not switch to Win10/11 ... my old lady doesn´t like them ...
I tried redownloading the game, didn't solve it. The game just can't handle the Prologue character creator for some reason, most likely the fact I'm on Win11. It's not even a bad or old pc per say.
It specifically happens after I hover over any of the body mods, I can proceed if I just ignore the creator options. I guess it's struggling to load the different models and proceeds to crap itself?

My guess is ... The Fixer is made with an older version of Renpy ... and Win11 is often incompatible with older software ...

I don´t think, Renpy is the right engine for idle animations ... I don´t know how Renpy operates, but it feels like every click/action generates a new frame/image ...
I am in for some more audio ... asside from the moody BGM I´d like some ambient sound ... maybe birds and bees for the park, a busy croud for the market, waves and seagulls for the lake side, music and mumbling voices for the bar, etc...

Hero's Harem Guild and Corrupted Kingdoms has some idle animations, although what OP is talking about may be pushing Renpy's limits because I've heard that fluids can be a headache in animation in general. That and also this particular game may have some limitations that prohibit animation, in engine or otherwise.
But hey, you never know. Doki Doki Literature Club is made in Renpy after all and if you know that game, you know it is able to do some impressive stuff.
I've seen a couple of Ren'Py games that do have them... I even remember one that implemented blinking both in characters in a scene and in their dialog portraits. But I do remember one game that animated absolutely everything and the framerate was always horrible! So apparently there's more than one way to implement it and some approaches are better than others.

try switching to accesories and changing the colours of something there - the colour picker should work there - and if you go back to the clothing settings after, the colour picker will start working there too
I actually tried that because I like changing the colors of those too but it like uh fucked everything up? It changed the color of the entire outfit and nothing else was fixing it so I've given up and made the color options we have work lol but thank you
The color settings are slot based ... like Schoolwear_OuterTop_Set1, Swimwear_BikiniBottom_Set2, Evening_Dress_Set2, Nighttime_UnderwearTop_Set1, etc...
The color palette is global for all outfit slots ...
Once I realized that ... I gave up on customizing the colors ... before it gets messy again, I rather stick with the given color selection/palette ...
the only way I found fixed this is re downloading the game, I hope updating again helps
Dragging the "selection knob" doesn't work properly. Try just clicking directly at your preferred color point in the color palette.
So I have a question regarding the fliers quest
Every time I've started a playthrough and encountered the dialog for it, neither the character model nor the options to do it would appear. It doesn't appear in the quests log, and no matter how many times I revisit the market, it doesn't work. But then one day I was messing with cheats and suddenly it did work. Is there an explanation for this?

so whenever i try to access a shop or go to the market, the game runs into an error and sends me right back to main menu, i also had it happen with my file while doing the 4th event of the cheerleaders when deciding how to get home, and had to load up an earlier save. i have not yet tested if it happens on a purely fresh save with no cheats active just yet, so i am unsure if i activated a cheat that caused it or not, but something is screwy and i dont know what's causing it.

I have a few themes I would like to talk about:
1-How do I finish quest of a girl from the factory? Seen a similar question from 2 years ago and back than it wasn't implemente, is it the case now too?
2-How do I give a chiesel to Nate? I had both chisel and wood saw. After talking to the girl from 1st question I checked my inventory and sure enough I had both instruments from scavenging around Heaven. Despite that only wood saw was given to Nate and no matter what I do chiesel refuse to be handed to Nate.
3-After update have an issue where specific type of clothes, the one that is between underwear and socks/gloves category, would not align with the body. What I mean is that whenever I wear a piece of that clothes, that clothes remove underwear and for some reason chest is displayed as free/not supported by bra, while the clothes are displaying as pressing them/supported by bra and due to that its overlapping and its not looking pretty 💅
1-Pretty sure its not finished yet.
2-Do you have duct tape? Because you need that to if you have every thing just keep talking to the guys after they stop playing there game.
3-I don't think all of the clothing has been drawn with all 3 of the different breasts sizes so that is probably the issue.

Yes, virtually every sexual interaction is optional (no matter the gender origin, female or male) for the main storyline and most interactions (from jobs to having friends). For the most lewdest jobs (cleaning lady in motel, barmaid in revel street) you'll most likely get groped or worse, unless you can avoid it with stats.
Some sidequest apparently might require doing sex, though i'm not 100% sure. Also, you can easily avoid being forced into anything by training into physical soon and keep a high mood and wearing enough clothing (basically normal)
By 'male sexual interactions' you mean having sex with males, I guess. And you are always a female MC. The male starting path just says that you were a male before waking up in the hospital.
As TheGentleMagpie said, most sexual interactions are optional in the meaning that you can escape sexual advances. But the efficiency of escaping depends on many factors so there are moments when you are unable to escape being forced. The probability has been lowered significantly in the latest versions but it's still possible. Generally, as your sister told you, try not to run around half-naked, horny and on drugs in the middle of the night ;)

afair you first have to be able to prostitute yourself. So either progress one of the quests where you can become a prostitute or start with an appropriate background.

Is the commando perk bugged, or just attached to the exhibitionist perk? I’ve gone through several scenarios where my character decided underwear wasn’t so bad and “lost” the perk, only for it to still be there. It only disappears if I use the cheat menu to get rid of exhibitionist first

The bras and panties share the same tab. Click the top part of the button for bras, and the bottom part for panties.
At least that is how it is for android.

I think theoretically you could gather the necessary information without doing real street work. You will still have to become a prostitute but you won't have to put out for real. Just standing around so to speak and talking to the other girls for example. But I never tried it since this is much, much slower and I'm always scared that Mira might die in the meantime. But if you want to abuse the save function, this should be possible.
if you go to the beach without doing any of the things that you need to do to find her you will find her dead which of course gives you a Quest fail
