  • Great music choice, visuals, and variety with the minigames. The gameplay loop is super engaging since you're constantly trying to beat the timers and collect enough money between minigames. Hard to stop playing!

How does your submission fit the jam's theme?
You play as an outdated TV humanoid, bringing old-styled entertainment to the party guests

Glad I saw this before the end of voting! Lots of cool ideas in this one, needing to match games to what people want is nice. Really like the dynamic music as you go in and out of minigames

Really liked the variety and quantity of the minigames and the mechanics of entertaining the guests are quite interesting. Great presentation.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the game! It was definitely lots of fun making it too

Submitted(+1)

Really cool game, enjoyed the visuals and minigames, reminded me of warioware

Developer

Thank you! That was the inspiration for this (and as I've seen in this gamejam, for various of the entries haha), lots of great games around!

The minigames on TV were solid and entertaining the party guests to progress is a cool mechanic. Even though, I made to round 2 on my 2nd playthrough this game was a lot of fun. The music and sounds were amazing and fit the game really well, especially the minigames.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! The game is indeed quite difficult to grasp at first, so I'm happy to hear people are playing more than a single attempt!

Very addicting game! I think this is a really neat and unique take on the microgame genre, having the player choose the best game to serve to each guest. The aesthetic and soundtrack are also really great and fit the vibe of the game perfectly. Great implementation of the theme in both the visuals and gameplay! Nice work!

Developer

Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Bunch of great games all around in this game jam!

The hero we all need to save us from boredom, really cool gem!

Developer

Thank you! This game jam is doing a great job at saving us all from boredom!

I love the minigame mechanics! I think the few pixels and the short amount of time have been used really well to make something fun. Even though it’s a bit tricky to understand at first, it’s very enjoyable! super great job!!

Developer

Thank you and I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yeah I've noticed that it's a bit confusing at first, but I'm glad people are managing to figure out the mechanics!

I loved the gae, it's really fun!!!!

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

One of the most creative uses of the WarioWare formula! Props to you!

I had some issues putting the game at full screen in the browser, but I still could see how cute and charming the sprites were ^^

Developer(+1)

Thank you and glad you enjoyed it! I did notice afterwards that the fullscreen on the browser didn't work, only in the downloadable version :(

Really cool vibe! Took a bit to figure it out, but the game was really fun to play~ I liked the extra layer to the Warioware-like mechanics and matching them to the patrons. The visuals and sound go so well together too. Super fun game!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! And yeah I did notice afterwards that the initiation may be a bit confusing to figure out at first, will try to add some sort of tutorial after the jam is over, I'm very happy that people are managing to figure it out nonetheless haha

A pretty interesting idea. At first I thought I just needed to push everyone off the platform and wait for the timer to end, but when I noticed the 0/70 text, I realized I was doing something wrong. Because I spent too much time at the start, I was a bit short of winning, but even so it was quite fun.

Developer(+1)

Haha yeah, I noticed afterwards that some people didn't notice the guests' need to be entertained, might add some sort of tutorial/indicator on the first guest after the game jam

Loved the core idea and the whole party vibe. Terry Vintage looks great and the screen shake when I push guests around feels very satisfying.

For me the only real downside was movement on the arrow keys. I constantly wanted to use WASD instead and that made it harder to relax and enjoy the chaos.

Visually everything is very charming, although I did miss small shadows under the characters. Right now they look like they float a bit above the floor. Flipping the sprites instead of rotating them could also make overlaps easier to read.

I played a few rounds and overall had fun. The concept with many quick minigames about entertaining guests is really strong and with some extra polish to movement and visuals it could be even more addictive.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the constructive feedback!

It hadn't crossed my mind the usage of WASD but it is a great shoutout! After the jam I will add both options for preference, and the shadows would indeed make for some nice detail, lessons to learn all around!

seriously impressed here. everytime i thought there weren't any more mini games to find another would pop up.

liked the rhythmicality of everything

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback! I tried to stick with the very simplistic minigame mechanics just to try to squeeze as many minigames I could into it, initially planned 10, ended up with 24 so quite happy with how it turned out haha

Submitted(+1)

I like the concept and the overall vibe.  Very fun and I love Terry Vintage's design!

Developer

Thank you! I really enjoyed how he turned out, will definitely try to re-use him in other projects where I get the chance, even as a guest appearance

Submitted(+1)

love the style of this and the context of the minigames! Terry Vintage has an awesome design, would invite him to my parties to punt my guests around

Developer

Really happy with his design, it's really simplistic yet funi, would definitely let him absolutely demolish my parties

Submitted(+1)

ooh another warioware minigame but with a meta-game twist!

Developer(+1)

Hell yeah! We got a bunch of wario-wares this year haha

Submitted(+1)

Those rewards are extremely satisfying to pick up, and the variety of minigames is impressive! I did frequently seem to pick the wrong ones, but It felt good regardless lol

Developer(+1)

Haha thank you! Really happy with how it turned out, I also loved the minigames on yours! They have the Wario Ware essence to them and sick references

Submitted(+1)

Thank you! Initially was surprised how many people went for the minigame approach but it makes sense thinking on it for the theme haha

Developer(+1)

Haha same! I kinda had the feeling some people would go for it, way more than I was expecting, when you think about it, one  can combine the entire shroom jam for a big Wario-Ware, minigames within minigames!
