It's fun and cute, I love the art style and the simplicity, a good game indeed!

Thank you!

Fun and creative game! The fact you completed it so early is surprising!

I started Oct 27! Wasn't sure if there was a rule around that (I'm new and it wasn't listed for this jam where it is for some others).

Still nonetheless great effort :D

The art direction is pretty nice, I like Batty and his animations (he's cute). I think the gaps should be a bit wider so that it's a bit easier to not collide with the walls. Overall, nice work on your first game.

Developer

Yes, it's a bit narrow/punishing right now.  Thanks for trying it!

Well done on your first game, your art is nice it really drew me in. I loved all the little details you added like hanging from the ceiling.

I think the sprite could have been a little smaller or the gaps bigger as I didn't make it far at all, the owls also are very regular I think having them less frequent and having some other hazards that are less offensive more timing based would allow more time to enjoy being a bat.

I agree, if I were to update it, I'd shrink the bat's collision a bit as well. Thanks for trying it out!
