How does the game fit the theme?
Every decision the player makes is a gamble between conserving resources and risking failure. Actions with a high success rate demand spending more of your limited resources, while cheaper actions carry a lower chance of success and may hurt you if they fail.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Music And some MiniGame assets

I love the unique resource management aspect of this game. Art style reminds me a tad bit of Fear & Hunger as well, and paired with the music really sets up an unnerving atmosphere. Overall a really cool project, seriously underrated.
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked it!
Wow... very unique role-playing style game! This is severely underrated.
Out of every game I've played, no game does the environment as well as this one. While I was playing, it really felt like I was a spooky forest, having to be wary and on guard of potential dangers. The choice of music and the dark gloomy surroundings make this an amazing game.
May I get the source of your music? Ty 😊
The gameplay is quite simple, but it's quite unique. In this jam, among all the "regular" games, your team made a point-and-click game where you have to conserve your resources. I had to think about future consequences while I was using my essence, and had to make sure that I left enough essence for future challenges. Amazing concept.
This game is very polished, I really like how the assets may be simple but it works so well. There is even some deep character dialogue that really enhances the gameplay.
Like I said, this is really underrated. I really wish that this game could have more ratings, and if you try really hard to promote it in these last few days of the rating period, you might be able to get more.
Amazing game!
Hey! Thanks for playing our game!
Our Artist "Kai Liung" was very thoughtful with her design and how she laid things in foreground and background. I played around with the light to increase the immersion as much as I could. "Deemio" found the BGM. (Click to open link)
I'm glad you enjoyed our game.
As for the promotions, I have been quite busy so haven't been very active.
I am mostly posting the game in Streaming/Video Threads where I can see people play the game and Some feedback threads where the OP is actually going through the game and leaving valuable feedback.
I have had experience in the past where people (From Rate 4 Rate Threads) rated my game just to have theirs rated and their feedback was very generic. Almost like they didn't even play it. Maybe the game genre wasn't something they preferred but they felt kinda pressured to play/rate it anyways. And since this time I am also busy, I am avoiding Rate 4 Rate Threads altogether.
You could say this is like an experiment. And tbh I am liking this way better. Having 8 ratings with people leaving some valuable feedback/their experience than having 100 ratings and generic comments is turning out to be more fulfilling.
As someone who doesn’t play these types of games, I really liked it. It was very well made and had a great atmosphere. I liked the different characters and their personalities. However, as a point, it could have turned into a record game with a loop to see who survives the longest.
Thanks for playing! We were actually gonna have an ending but couldn't decide the ending in time so it just stayed as a "try to survive the journey". " record game with a loop to see who survives the longest" seems like a fun thing to try. Thanks for the suggestion!
Beautiful work! This could be polished and extended out to be an entire game that I would straight up buy. As of now it doesn't have much content, finished it in like 10 minutes, but for something that was created in a week as a game proof of concept I love it! Great job, you should do something more with this idea after the jam!
Thank you for playing and for the words of encouragement!
I liked the character art, it’s really beautiful! I also enjoyed the minigame, it would be nice to add more minigames.
Glad you enjoyed. We had plans for more mini-games but could couldn't find a way to incorporate them into the story in time.

Thanks for playing it on stream!
Not the prettiest game I've played today, not the most mechanically refined and yet everything comes together amazingly. Might have been my favourite of the jam so far, and I just love how narratively focused it is.
You created one hell of a universe here that totally sucked me in. As far as I am concerned, this place is totally worth exploring further.
Deemio and Kai had the whole story mapped out. Only a part of that made it into the actual game due to various constraints. Glad you enjoyed it!
