A really fun game! I'm pretty bad at playing it, but it was a pretty fun time.

Developer

My antivirus fought me tooth and nail trying to install this, so I trust you not to snuk in a crypto miner or something ;)

Glad I managed to get it to work in the end. This is very close to what I wanted to do aswell for the Jam (but couldn't convince my co-developers of it). Glad that I get to experience what could have been, and that I wasn't the only one who thought of it. Feel validated.

Only somewhat relevant, but I really like your thumbnail art.

Thank you ! Seeing the quality of your project i can only imagine the game you would have delivered with your team :o (awesome art, theme and concept btw).

I can only understand the reluctance to download unknown content on your computer, but i can give you my word there are nothing fishy in my game folders. (I made my game on game maker engine, maybe it could explain somehow the unusual difficulties with your antivirus ?).

It is my first jam so i looked for a way to try executable projects like mine without risks and found the existance of sanboxes (was also recommanded virtual machines but they seem more difficult to use). I don't know what it is worth but could be helpfull to take a look (if you are not already aware of all those things).

I myself can't code anything more complex than a wallpaper - my mates do most of the heavy lifting ;) But thanks for the kind words.

I'm not really worried of downloading anything actually malevolent, just found it funny that of the stuff I've played over the last couple days, this one in perticular caused some alarmbells to go off.

Keep up the good work!

This is how I felt after trying for minutes to make it past the dog bed :D

Great game! Really funny idea, and implemented well.

Developer

Thank you for playing ! I really hope that any little step feel rewarding for my players ^^

I loved your game too, filled with interesting ideas and many great designs.

Oh my, I'm terrible at these types of games LMAO. I ended up figuring out a way to scoot forward, but I was stuck at the bed for like 10 mins. QWOP-like games are not my forte, but I did enjoy it and found pleasure at finally getting the first biscuit! Good stuff!

P.S I love the name, btw its very clever. My dog and cat both act like they are stretching to get what they shouldn't have.

Developer

Thank you ! I myself actually improved only by making the game itself ^^ like i saw one of you perfected his high score on your game (tried to beat it but couldn't get past 600, had a really good time though).

I thought it was amazing! It took me a while to get the hang of the mechanics, but it's totally different from anything I've played before. I think it’s the kind of game that would be perfect for YouTubers — it’ll totally make everyone rage with the mechanics aksdaksdk

Developer

Thank you ! I drew a lot of inspirations from those kind of physics based game like bennett foddy's (QWOP,getting over it,...).

i'm happy if it managed to put you to the test ! I also had a hard time with your game, yet found the ideas are really good. I left a comment with more details ^^

So cool!! Loved it. Funny how we also thought of a dog going for forbidden snacks.

Developer

Thank you ! I'm glad you enjoyed it ! i'm pretty convinced the theme globally define dogs daily life's mindset...

I tried your game and left a comment, really original and well made!

Sorry, but I'm not going to download anything.

Understandable... sadly i realised too late i was building the project on windows executable specs... html5 export is barely playable.
