Loved itt, funny sfx, cute art, it really needed some bgm but overall goodjob especially for your first jam! A leaderboard somehow would have been nice I think to encourage replayability

Any recommendations on how to approach it. Do you use something like firebase or?
Personally, I use a unity package called leaderboard creator which is also on itch, the implementation is a bit weird to get into but the documentation is more than enough, it doesn’t go offline much in my experience (though ironically it is rn lmao trust me this is rare)

The lack of a story was a really good point.
I was thinking to change it to something like "save the pandas" and change the biscuit to a bamboo leaf or something.
But I just finished the background when I got the idea and didn't want to remake it.

=) The pandas have an animation when jumping, tho maybe I should have made it more pronounced. The fact that you haven't noticed it is for sure an indication of that.
Different panda sprites its an interesting idea. It didn't cross my mind but I guess I could just invert the colors.
Fun!!!, I really liked it! The first time I heard the panda’s little scream when it fell, I laughed so hard hahaha. Maybe I’d make the cookie sound shorter, but I guess everyone has to eat, right? xD Great job!

Very nice art, a sweet and short gameplay loop. Quite addictive, however it can feel extremly harsh if you loose
Thank you for your kind words! I should probably add some difficulty settings, like if you just want to go on forever and paly the game just to relax there could be an option without hunger or something like that.

You can always skip a biscuit if its too hard to get to it. Tho you may be unlucky and get a respawn in the same place =).
The gameplay was fun and yes the panda art is really good and so much cute.
Art is not my strong so it make me happy to know you liked the panda. His face seemed like it was always angry to me =)) had to tweak it a few times.

It became repetitive after a while, but the death sound is just so goofy for a cute little panda lol, Great game :)
