Beyond the sorta quick-start game, I like the elements of the implied fantasy universe with things like the mount in a bottle, the Liars Guild and the time-stopping powers of the titular chant.

I'm glad to hear it. The little implied details are something I am having fun doing. There is gonna be more later.

Unique character creation mechanics. Wish there was a little more "meat" to the adventure.

Developer

I agree. I will say that there is more coming.

This looks like the start of something great! Simple and strong basics to build from. I particularly like the idea behind Tales emerging during play with limited usability (1 per session), combined with Advancement. Do the core stats start at zero for character creation and only increase when the 9d6 rolls yield a 1 or a 2?

Good work. I hope to see it develop further!

Thank you for the kind words and the feedback. Yes, the stats do start out at zero. So you're going to want to be I guess a little tactical and how you assign your stats, but also realizing that a lot of times your tails can provide good contacts for a critical roll, even if you need to use what's normally a weaker stat.

Great looking cover!!!

Thank you. I used my favorite font, plus the assets included in the jam drive, and one of my favorite Dean Spencer images.
