Art style is amazing.. and the few seconds i was able to "hit goal" were also great. Had a really hard time with the controlls though (maybe it's much easier with a controller)
What... what am I?
I'm in love with the pixelated 3d visual, the colors of the background and the track blend beautifully. The bits of stuff on the ground made me think I had to avoid it until I read the description. I love how the music starts to build when you get to that sweet spot near the track, although it was difficult for me to figure out where to place myself so I could get the max speed. I would love to see this fleshed out in the future, mayhaps with a title screen to help display the information!
The closer you get to the track, the more speed you gain. I's interesting that you assumed there was a specific sweet spot, maybe we should take that as a hint :)
Beautiful aesthetic and really creative concept! Everything fits together in a way that feels fresh and memorable!
Awesome work!!!! 👏👏👏
This visual and audio direction here is so sick genuinely. I'd be so curious to see what the track looks like without the fixed camera because it must be so trippy. Awesome work!
Not sure if trippy is the right word, but the second level is basically just a giant knot
this definitely qualifies as trippy to me that looks so awesome lmaooo. Thanks for sharing!
This has a really neat art style of the kind I don’t see often in jams, which I really like. Felt very nicely polished. I only played through the first two tracks, since the second one took quite a long time (maybe two loops would’ve been more fitting for that one, given how long it was…), but I had fun with what I played! I foolishly didn’t read through the itch page before playing, so at first I was avoiding the track (thinking it would hurt me or something), which made me a lot slower than I could’ve been. But, I figured it out eventually, thankfully!
cool game i like the psx effect makes the game feel better the controls are a bit hard but once i got used to them the game became very fun
dream-like aesthetic nice
yeessss really fun! love the dynamic music. the look of it. took some time to get used to the controls. i think my only complaint is how hard it was to see some geometry that halts you on the track. cereal when haves milk:
I love the aesthetic! the gameplay mechanic of trying to stay near the ground to build up speed was also interesting!
Absolute fever dream. 10/10
This game got me in a dream-like trance. Wait, where am I? Who am I? Anyways this game was pretty fun.
I adore the style you went for its unique and pretty cool!
Gameplay was simple but interesting and kept me playing for quite a bit!
Very good job on the game!
i really love art style of this game
i cannot for the life of me fly an airplane T___T
maybe its cause im playing on keyboard
but i love the art of this game looks really cool and unique
You will be relieved to hear that the original prototype had much more plane-like controls (pitch/roll). We simplified it to make it more accessible
thats good to hear
I really love the art of this game! I got stuck in the floor a bunch, though it might just be a skill issue on my part!
I Loved it! This is a great game idea that reminds me of the F-Zero franchise.
Reminds me of every morning when I eat cereal! Visuals and music complements the game design very well! I liked the unique take on racing games! Keep up the good work and a have bowl of cereal on me.
Love the aesthetic!
This has to be one of the prettiest games on the jam. Great job making something that looks this good in just a couple days!
